🎩January 2025:

What an extraordinary opportunity to have collaborated with Graham Gill (Director & Playwright), John Cameron (Composer), and Tim Jasper (Musical Director) on a new musical called Chapeau, inspired by the French novel Le Chapeau de Mitterrand!
Casted as one of the main roles, we took part in an intense 2-week R&D workshop alongside the musical theatre and the music students (and Joshua Fulcher) from LCM, culminating in a live performance.

Many thanks Graham for the pictures & videos.

And… CHAPEAU again, tout le monde! 🎩

Term 3 ✅

This was a long 9 weeks, but we made it and boy did we get a lot done! 3 short projects, our first auditions, casting for our 4th term show Alice By Heart and so so much more!

I’d say I’m having a good rest, but I’ve suddenly decided I’m doing dance classes now 🤷🏼‍♂️

Chapeau! 🎩many thanks to @grahamgill2202 @johncameronmusic for giving us all this amazing opportunity. Can’t believe I get to say I was in the world premier of a new musical. Had the best time and I’m going to miss playing my beautiful piano prodigy Esther ❤️

Now, you will all be delighted to know that at the weekend at a belated party I held, there was SO much chatting and laughing like the aged gasbag that one is along with everyone else it joyously seems to my UTTER DELIGHT before the phat tunes smashed on and I was lost on the dance floor swinging my braless breasts around until the night stopped that not many photos were taken! Big fat phew you say! However there is a little bit of over posting in front of ‘Inside The Factory’ about pizzas to be had. So.Tables standing by. Flowers were vased up. Dress was hurled on in about three mins, my one only lipstick applied (well glam, me)and first guests arrived. Lights dimmed. Soup course out. Duane working his chatting magic. Wakey’s new jumper well and truly covered....he seems to think that in company no one really noticed...hey ho....more chatting photos.....NOW FOR THOSE WHO FOLLOW LIZ COPPS SHOE QUIZ......WHICH SHOE IS LIZ’s? The Loubatin blingtastic buffed to a shine mule, the silver sparkle flat which one must always wear knickers for forfend the reflection, the really expensive shoe with bling-embellishment OR THE BLACK NON MERRILL COURT SLASH KITTEN HEEL????......MINDS BLOWN....yes.....then a photo of the delicious Welsh, a couple of edible Canadians and the-beauty-of-Bridport! Boom. A total chat-laugh-fest which made me well emosh to sit back and watch. I have just now also discovered that one can only tag twenty! Who knew! Sorry to those I have not managed to get in yet!#thelawnrochford #thelawn #amazingfriends #party #kittenheels #louboutin #merrillshoes #lizonlywentandworelipglosstoo!!!! @jago.21 @tishy.bling @den_on_sea @meganstunt @alex_stunt @liv.stunt.xo @catherinestunt @mikestunt1 @deb1slack @vanessadodds1 @oldaarons @jamiedodds1 @doddsy_95 @grahamgill2202 @liamwhitehair @wajoh2018 @doug2371 @suzanne_selvester @heiditaylor2 @allantaylor06 @bryantjanine @cuttsy78 @ktong50 @tong.dave @katieberryx @porgegeorge18 @jumblat123 @rachel.munro @alicezarubova @tomleggat @littleonioncp

I reckon we are up to my penultimate post as I sit here by the fire ce soir....yep...but French right at you there. Now first photo.....THE SCOURGE of this current day. COCKING spelt bread, poached eggs on smashed avocado....oh....and some chilli flakes. WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?? I carried on every morning with toast and peanut butter and ignored the rest of the team at the table super chuffed with themselves whilst they were probably making their own hessian bags and matching shoes. Some of you will say “Oh Ju, I LOVE this”....you will therefore be deemed dead to me. Fair enough I say as you grow your matching beards. Barby living the dream with us in the desert and a foldable flag which essentially nearly took Liz’s teeth out as it pinged open. Boodi’s mum made food for our team one day and we thought that we had fallen in to heaven. Back in the display cabinet that night was a rather curious and fancy selection of shoes made of coloured chocolate. Liz bought both but realised soon after that the Merrells lasted longer in the heat, plus they killed her ankles.....the other delish Mr Whittle in my life with the glory of Yegana the night she arrived. Hils and Svennie with a photo which had I posted out there might have not allowed Hils out of the country! Now, I have filtered so much light to try and show Gem, Tom and Snatty amongst the undergrowth at the Lebanese for Toms birthday. He is still unacceptably young. THAT PUDDING. The melon on the right did not get finished needless to say.

So this guy standing on the camel.....that was not what I was doing...nah....gripping like a grippy thing I was. Camels are well high! The team all nipped right up upon the camel train and then we realised that that is much easier than getting down! I deffo had the wrong bra on for the down bit of a camel. Now I have hugely invaded your feeds this evening I appreciate but can I just end it all by saying that when one has to be away from my favourite and the only truly important thing in the world which is my family, then working all day, all night, being at breakfast with, at lunch with, at dinner with, being with people who are kind, funny, brilliant at their jobs, kind, funny, funny, kind, egoless, funny, kind and who only also want to earn money but who also value the importance of being with good, tolerant, family-like-others for the duration of the lunacy is beyond priceless. It is not about the work but all about the people. I am so so lucky to be able to choose which jobs to go on, I know and I also know that I am well lucky to be able to choose the ones where the people I will be with is the first thing I look for in a job as my life is too short, like my legs to not surround oneself with a cocking brilliant, loving bunch. Thank you to everyone who made leaving my family bearable. You will all never understand how I value you all in my days. I am not dying but the way just exhausted from posting!....still itching a bit from the camels, mind. FINISHED, EVERYONE you will be relieved to know!! 🐪🐪🐪🐪🐪🐪🐪🐪🐪🐪🐪🐪🐪🐪🐪🐫

So. Pam’s display of doves of peace which alas were in fact looked more like inflatable bats of peace, sadly never made the stage but gave us such larks and japes in the office. If you ever need a bat of peace inflating then do call Kieran. He is master. Ooooh my goodness how we LOVED the Lebanese, Byblos. Could not move after that veritable feast of delish. That’ll be an Oryx, three Hubaras and a flamingo standing by. You all knew that was an Oryx I assume? Nour aka Fashion, realising that maybe the headsets would not quite work for him and Wadih stroking my personalised condiments from the Ketchup King of the UAE, Rebecca’s hubby John. Yep. Personalised ketchup. You is like all well jel now. I allowed people to stroke my condiments only at an allotted time a day. The Dijon really suffered.

Now then....Betty Productions....After having looked after us all so brilliantly this year out in Baku and made Ceremonies what you always wanted with fun and kindness with the team you amassed now, the Christmas party. I love my bauble and my chocolate, loved my Christmas dinner, my puddings, the quiz, the quiz master, the MARIACHI BAND heralding the losing table until the shots were drunk (make sure that you have the sound on) the fact you organised me elderflower lusciousness, the company, could Vicky look more beautiful?? ER...NO!, James trying to photobomb us but getting dragged in, the people around each table, Sam and Lollo reunited, ma sorella la Rossetto and the panettone she gave me, THE MARIACHI BAND and the general love and laughter in that room. Thank you so much. You have restored my faith in it all and have kicked my Yuletide off good and proper. @nathanmarkwright @friendofweegee and @robbiiee you were missed OBVS!! Oh...and I did do this long post before my latest one but some middle aged buffoonery intervened and poof, it did not load. My other one was funnier and yet a bit more maudlin with love.
