Man it went by fast! All of these photos feel like yesterday! What a time to get to compete in the #CrossFitGames when I did.

I appreciate everyone who was a part of it, especially all the fans who filled the seats.

The history lesson you didn’t know you needed😜, but who’s next?!

Which elite female will be crowned the Fittest on Earth for the first time?👀

Will the elite men crown a new champion, or will a past champ add more gold to their collection?🥇

Come with me to San Jose, California to watch the CrossFit Games find the Fittest on Earth for the 20th time💃🏼

Great challenge by @grahamholmberg. Time 8:43, he beat me by over a minute I believe and he used a 70lb KB. Forearms…toast.
Having people you look up to, respect not only for their abilities but for who they are, that’s CrossFit. That’s OG CrossFit and the fact I’m doing the same workout at a Games Winner…just shows this is for everyone.
Keep pushing, keep working to be a little better each day.

The wall is filling up with lots of athlete and team plaques. We love CrossFit!

And how about that 13.4 CrossFit games open banner? Not too many CF boxes have that hanging up at there place.

Coach Ro and her first CF gym hosted the 13.4 open with @cspealler and @grahamholmberg. That was an epic old school CrossFit event.

This guy didn’t know it yet but a few months later, he’d be on the floor at the CrossFit Age Group Masters.

I didn’t get here on my own. God’s favor opened the door, but it was the creatives who took time to answer a DM camera settings, mindset, just showing up that helped shape how I see this work. Shoutout to Herc Media and every creative who poured into me without hesitation.
To the athletes I got to shoot, some of you I’ve watched for years. Getting to be in the room with you, telling your story through a lens, is something I don’t take lightly.

This is just the beginning. More competitions. More events. More moments I get to freeze in time.

Grateful doesn’t even cover it. 🙏📸

The LEGEND herself, Samantha Briggs joins us on GTP to talk about the mindset battles she faced during the 2014 CF Open announcement of 14.5 while racing Rich Froning at the end of the workout. Sharing with us that it was sadly Brent Fikowski that had to pay for that many years later at the CF Games. 😂

What a pinch me moment it was for G to have the opportunity to sit down with one of the greats to ever be in the sport of CF.

The ENGINE lives on in the history of CrossFit - and even though we miss seeing her RUN all over the athletes on the competition floor - we will forever be grateful to see her continue to throw down with the LEGENDS at Rogue.

We had a blast Sam - lets run it back soon! 🔥

Last day of testing workouts. We put time and effort testing skill, strength, and the mental grit of our athletes while trying to sprinkle in some fun. We are happy to have some great athletes like @andrewcannavo and some amazing companies to work with. Slide into our DMs if you want to work with us this year.

Had to knock this one out solo! The way I did it was:
15 minutes
:30 (2 rounds)
:30 (rest)

Kicked my butt! Doing these workouts is always better with a group, but it has to get done!

@crossfitrobo was a powerhouse for team @roguefitness competing against team Again Faster at the Tahoe throwdown way back in 2010. He came in with a reputation for being savagely strong and fit and did not disappoint. With the warmest smile he kicked butt all 3 days and showed himself to be reliable and full of heart, strategizing to win while keeping kindness in his voice. I was happy he was there and considered him a safety totem; a badge I would pin to him the for the upcoming weekend at SEALFIT….
(to be continued)
