FW26 - Heart Collar Pinafore

This Heart Collar Pinafore draws inspiration from our SS23 Heart Collar Pullover. A silhouette with so much character, yet previously not properly delivered. This pinafore marks the first of many iterations inspired by that SS23 piece.

Crafted from 100% cotton denim, it seamlessly fits into any wardrobe. Featuring the heart as a central motif, this playful take on a dress can be styled as a shirtdress or layered as outerwear for both casual and formal occasions. Hidden pockets make it practical for everyday wear.

Tomorrow, Grainline and Public Functionary will be presenting Mohamed Abdalla in the first of its kind Emerging Artist Exhibition.

This is one of Grainline’s programs that I’m most excited about. Through this program, I get to directly provide guidance and support to talented independent designers, helping them build processes and structure for their businesses, finding economic sustainability in the process.

Guidance I wish was available for me when I started my journey 10+ years ago.

With @grainlinempls, a new Minneapolis concept space in Loring Park, the designer behind his eponymous label, @denimani, is introducing a different kind of fashion experience—part flagship, part studio, the space serves as both a retail environment and Denimani Livingstone’s atelier. Visitors can shop his collections, commission custom designs, and experience the process behind the garments.

It’s also meant to be a gathering place. Livingstone plans to host programming, including events, talks, and creative conversations that span different mediums. “I want it to be a space to dive into fashion, film, magazines, books—you know, have conversation and dialogue,” he says.
