The wedding doesn’t end with the last dance. In 2027, we’re making room for the after party.
Think second looks, dramatic silhouettes, champagne towers, dim lighting, flash photography, and a dance floor that feels more like an exclusive fashion event than a traditional wedding reception.
So, what is a wedding after party?
It’s the celebration after the formal reception ends. A chance for the bride to slip into a second look, the music to get louder, and the atmosphere to become a little less traditional and a lot more personal.
The 2027 After Party Edit: Less structure. More movement. Fashion-forward bridal looks, intimate late-night settings, and unforgettable, unposed moments.
The ceremony is timeless. The reception is elegant. The after party is where the personality takes over.

Anna & James’ wedding was the sweetest mix of timeless details, sentimental touches, and plenty of celebration 🤍 Soft shades of green and white carried throughout the day, from the florals and reception details to the bridesmaids’ elegant dresses from @bellabridesmaidsbham. Live music from @encorestringsbirmingham added another beautiful touch to the celebration, creating the perfect soundtrack for such a meaningful day 🎻✨⁠

What made their wedding even more special were the pieces of family history woven throughout. Anna incorporated several heirlooms passed down by loved ones, including her veil, silver goblets, and the sweetest vintage cake topper. If the sneak peaks are this good I cannot wait to see the rest @sidneysmithphoto ♥️😍 The wedding this past weekend had two ceremonies: a traditional Nigerian one on Friday, and then a traditional American ceremony and reception Saturday. We had to think through how to use our florals both days, while still wanting each day to feel special and unique. We also flipped the room on Saturday and reused the ceremony florals for the reception! Brides, this is such a good way to get the most bang for your buck! Always talk through with your florist how you can repurpose ceremony florals. Ceremonies are typically only 30 mins but use a lot of your budget when you’re wanting a big floral moment.
