There is a beautiful, underground chapel tucked away beneath this West London church and hardly anyone seems to know that it exists…

Today the church is also home to @grandjunctionw2 a community, arts and heritage venue. There is a link in my bio to find out more.

Just announced: Sarah Nicolls and Héloïse Werner join the line up for Artangel's Earth Rising performance with @grubbymittsband on Thursday 29 October at the @grandjunctionw2.

🌏 Grubby Mitts 🌏
Hailing from Bedford and fronted by artist Andy Holden (@andyholdenphotos), Grubby Mitts has expanded to include a full brass section, combining joyful melodic pop, cinematic production and avant-garde experimentation. The evening will also feature one of the first live performances of their Earth Rising Volume II track, Giving up the Ghost.

🌎 Sarah Nicolls 🌎
@sarahpianolife is a pianist reinventing the piano. Trained classically, her experiments with electronic sound, wearable technology, improvisation and theatre led to a realisation she needed to change the shape of the piano. Nicolls invented the 2.5-metre-tall "Inside-out Piano" out of a desire to play both the strings and the keys.

🌍 Héloïse Werner 🌍
Soprano and composer @heloisewerner is an Associate Artist at Wigmore Hall. Described as ‘a latter-day Cathy Berberian or Meredith Monk’ by The Times, her third studio album “Light, persists” will be out in June 2027 on Delphian Records.

🗓️ Thursday 29 Oct 2026, 18:30 - 21:00
📍 Grand Junction, London W2 5TF
🎫 Tickets: £10
