Three seasons. ❤️⚾

I’ve had the privilege of photographing this team through 9U, 10U, and now 11U. These aren’t just athletes in front of my camera. They’re my son’s teammates, classmates, friends, and the kids we’ve spent countless hours cheering on together.

Watching them grow each season while capturing the moments their families will look back on for years to come is something I’ll never take for granted.

These are the memories that make youth sports so special. 💙💛

The GLHS Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2026 has officially been announced! We are working to share a post on each of the new inductees!

Next up: Charles Gorman.
A Grand Ledge legend in 3 sports! Coach Gorman was the head varsity coach in football, wrestling and baseball from 1959-1966 before his tragic death in November of 1966 at the age of 36. In 7 short years, he reinvigorated GL football, bringing success to a sport that hadn’t seen success in 20 years, a foundation that’s still felt today. He established the wrestling program, also setting a foundation of success still felt today. Lastly, he coached the baseball program to its greatest success in school history prior to Coach O’Keefe’s tenure as coach.

If any members of Coach Gorman’s family are interested in representing Coach Gorman this fall, please contact our athletic office (517-925-5930) or email us at glhsathletichalloffame@gmail.com

Go to our website comethalloffame.com to read more about Charles Gorman as well as all of the spectacular teams, coaches, and athletes in the Class of 2026 as well as previous inductees. They will be formally recognized and inducted at the September 25th Varsity football game! We hope to see you there along with the newest inductees and their families to celebrate them!

The GLHS Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2026 has officially been announced! Over the next couple weeks, we will continue to post about each of the new inductees!

First up: Lynn VanDerSteen.

The very first all state baseball player under legendary Hall of Fame Coach Pat O’Keefe. Lynn was a versatile talent as he starred in 3 sports: he was a 3 years starter for football, basketball and baseball. He was even named all conference his senior year in all 3 sports. He would go on to play baseball at Central Michigan before returning home to help coach GL baseball with his former head coach for over 3 decades! Congrats Lynn!
