This weekend I competed at the 2024 Ontario Summer Games in London, ON, which is also my final outdoor meet of the season. I won the🥇in the 2000m in a time of 6:38.23, which is also the number one ranked U14 2000m in the nation according to the rankings on Athletics Canada. Yesterday I came away with the🥈in the 1200m in a new PB of 3:47.66, just missing out on the win by less than a second. My final race of the weekend was the 800m where I finished in 4th. Thank you to the @athleticsont staff and @osglondon2024 for putting on this event, as well as to the coaching staff on my team, The Corridor for all their hard work. Lastly I want to give a big thank you to my grandparents and my @fcdurhamacademy soccer coaches Tom and Ron for coming to support me. As always, congratulations to everyone who competed. 🇨🇦☺️❤️🤙🏼

Today was a good day! I felt a little pressure going in to today’s MTA Provincial XC Championship after all that has been going on, but as my dad always says “a little pressure isn’t a bad thing, it makes 💎”. I ended up winning the atom girls race, placing🥇out of 90 runners on the 2.3km course, and my @durhamdragonsathletics team brought home the team🥈on a very 💨 day. My grandparents surprised me by driving 2.5 hours to come watch me run 😊. I also got a nice early birthday surprise from my friend Avery who runs for the Burlington Track & Field Club…wish you could come to my party and congratulations on winning the🥉in the atom girls race! Next up is the Endorphin Elite 5km in Hamilton next weekend. 🔥🔥🔥

Today I finished off the last race of outdoor track season. 🤙🏼✌🏼👊🏼 Going into the last few weeks of my season I had my sights set on three races: The Open Women’s 3000m at the UTTC Twilight Meet #3, The 1500m at the MTA Provincial Championships, and the 2000m at the Athletics Ontario Provincial Championships.

In the first race I managed to set a new PB in the 3000m in a time of 10:29.95.

Last week in my 1500m at the MTA Provincial Championships in Brampton, ON I lead the entire race in the pouring rain, but ended up getting caught in the last meter to earn the 🥈, losing by .2 seconds.

Lastly in my 2000m that I competed in this weekend in London, ON, I won the🥇at the U14 Athletics Ontario Championships leading the race from start to finish in a time of 6:55.08. Thank you to my grandparents for coming to watch me race! 😊

I am very happy with how the season went as a whole. I had some ups and downs along the way, but feel that I came away with more positives in the end. Now it is time to focus on the second half of my OPDL soccer season and start to prep for Cross Country.

Did my first ever BMX race today at @stouffvillebmx track in Bruce’a Mills Conservation Area. I was so nervous about racing, but I had so much fun and it was such a great environment. I had three runs, with the last one being a photo finish. Can’t wait to race again. 🤙🏼❤️💯

Competed at the MTA Provincial Championships today in Niagara Falls. I ran an ok race placing🥉overall in the 2011/2010 age group, but just didn’t have it today over the final few hundred meters. Congrats to my friend @mookieruns who brought home the gold and ran a very strong race. Also a big congrats to my @durhamdragonsathletics team for bringing home the🥈in the team placing. One more race to go in a few weeks until my XC season is done. Lastly wanted to say thank you to my grandparents for coming out to watch me race, ❤️ you. #ignitethefire

Competed at the @athleticsont U14, U16, U18 AO Outdoor Championships today in #london at Western University. I ran up an age group in the U14 2000m and got the🥉. This was probably my best race of the season as I had to over come some major adversity, getting clipped and falling, as I was moving into the lead on lap 4 of the 5 lap race. In the end I still managed to run a new #pb of 7:11.73 despite the fall. Big thank you to my grandparents who came out to support and cheer me on today! ❤️ Congrats to my friend @mookieruns who took home the🥈in the race.
