Time to leave New Zealand… This is gonna be a really hard one to break down in words. New Zealand is a special place: bright, alive, magic, where you will get used to surf in the morning and hike a 2600m peak in the same day, where it could be summer and winter in the same day, where people could just give you a smile and walk away or suddenly introduce you to their whole family and show you all the surroundings, a place where nature is raw, powerful and beautiful but at the same time the country is mostly livable everywhere, a place where you’ll almost get used to the beauty of it because you have to see them on a daily basis. Kiwis are amazing people, smiley, welcoming, down to earth and the kind of people that look at the world as it is the most beautiful thing that have ever happened to exist; Maori people are an amazing and surprising culture to explore, so rich in history, traditions & mostly rich of honest and smart ways to approach life and take care and bond with the beautiful nature that they are surrounded with, such a big inspiration to be a better person. This thank you list is gonna be stupidly long but can’t go without it for all the special people I met here. Thanks to Jon, Fernando, Sav, Ines, Luke, Hayley and all the Kaikoura & Hapuku people that made my experience in that piece of paradise so special. Thanks to Isaac, Kev, Shehab & all my amazing flatties of 18 Salisbury, Tahu people and all the gizzy people I met. Thanks for coach Hayze, Pete, Tera, and all these amazing people that made me such an happy and better BJJ athlete, you guys will always have a special spot in my heart. Thanks a lot to Taylor, Louane, Wyatt, Grant, Fanny, Lorenzito, Thiemo, Maia, Callum and the rest of the uncountable amazing travelers I met on the road this year, you guys made me a better person and became a major part of my memories here. Thanks to my buddy Ben: I found such a special friend here in nz and I can’t wait to see your face somewhere else in the word.
Big big thanks to Fabio: as usual spending time with you has been amazing, with you the clock stop and everything seem to smile at us, can’t wait too see what our next adventure gonna be.
