A little Rhône river cruise flashback! 🍷 Because apparently visiting wineries DURING a wine cruise isn’t enough for us. We had to squeeze in a tasting in Châteauneuf-du-Pape before we even boarded the ship! 😂

That’s my kind of travel group!

I’m heading back to the Rhône in August 2027 to host another wine-focused river cruise, and we have just a few cabins left. If you’d like to join us, send me a message and I’ll share the details!

“I have been to my fair share of wine trade events in the past few years and most of them have followed the same format. However, I did not expect what was in store for me when I attended the Chianti Classico Grand Tasting event at Ai Fiori in New York City, a few weeks ago. If you have never attended a trade event, they can be a bit overwhelming at times. One is spoilt for choice and if you want to leave the event, being fairly in control of your faculties, you need to be able to pace yourself. With that in mind, I had done my research, picked the wines I wanted to try, and was all set to check each one off my list.

What I wasn’t prepared for, was the wonderful surprise that greeted me when I ascended the stairs of Ai Fiori, one of my favorite restaurants in New York City.” - Here’s my latest article, published on Grape-Experiences.com on the wonderful world of Chianti Classico! @chianticlassico @grapeexp_cindy

As May kicks in, you want deliciously cool, tasty bubbles to pair with food (or just enjoy on the patio?) As a dedicated, devoted Francophile, I have to share my go-to sparkling and my guilty pleasure: a stunningly delicious sparkling rosé that is ridiculously affordable, and compares well to bottles 2-3x the price.

If I didn’t know where it came from, I’d assume a brilliant, old-soul yet young, female winemaker in southern France. Well… she’s brilliant, old-soul, female winemaker in Central CA. #Boom

One of my favorite river cruise shore experiences: truffle hunting.

We head into the countryside with a local truffle hunter and his dog, watch the hunt unfold, then finish by tasting freshly unearthed truffles prepared simply - the kind of moment that stays with you long after the cruise ends.

This is exactly the kind of immersive, food-focused experience I love weaving into my curated itineraries.

If this kind of experience speaks to you, I’m already planning our 2027 sailing. 🥂

As someone who regularly goes weeks and sometimes months without alcohol, just know it’s achievable and easier to do when you start small. NA drinks, activities and great friends are the winning combo!

Watch till the end for a throwback of my OG 2018 tasting group with @grapeexp_cindy and @kristys_winetravels !

Happy New Year! #dryjanuary #cheatcodes #sobercuriousmovement
