The Honda Accord Super Touring build! Our latest fleet car… swipe to see the journey so far ➡️ Our first time seeing it for auction back in April. Lot no. 497 - A burgundy red Honda Accord. The 5th-generation Coupé, with a dark grey leather interior featuring air conditioning and sunroof. 106,000 miles on the clock. Accompanied by its original service book containing 13 stamps up to 60,044 miles in 2007. This seemed like the perfect candidate for our next project car, but there were some other strong contenders at @angliacarauctions too… It had its quirks, but nothing that would stop us from working on the car. One thing that almost caught us surprise was what we thought was oil all over the engine bay, which turned out to be black spray paint covering the whole engine, with overspray everywhere! Our team had a a lot of amusement over the discovery of this on first viewing. It was bidding time, and we have a winner! (Jord was really excited as you can tell) Shawn and Tom accompanied Jord in the bidding process and celebrated the win together 🥳 Collection day @gravitymatt @gravityjord @gravityshawn We then revealed the Honda to a small selection of creators for a first look, lots of reactions and smiles as we pulled off the covers! It was sight to see a burgundy Accord next to the rest of our Gravity blue fleet. We couldn’t wait to get started. Soon after, we got right to work stripped the car down to its shell… And took the engine out for a swap! Teamwork from @gravityshawn and @gravitybethh We were up to August, Gravity month! The build was slowly starting to come together… Test fitting some new wheels from @rotiform @rotiformeurope to get a feeler for the build. It was safe to say silver was a great choice. It was time, and off to @funkeefish for wrap, this was our first time trying silver. We had to get the build finished with only a week away from Gravity Show 2026! But would we make it? We made it, and revealed it for the first time in front of the big stage. It was a special moment for us, a build marking our 10 year anniversary of the show. Thank you to everyone who joined us. 🫶 Thank you to everyone involved in this build! @motul_uk

Work has officially begun on the Gravity Honda project… this time around each of us has a task, picked from the hat (or helmet) we then have to work out HOW we do that… luckily I got the interior, although @gravitybethh pulled the engine, she may need some meknik assistance @gravityshawn 🔧 Taking the interior out, the brakes off, the wheels off & having the Honda up in the air on a brand new set of axle stands wouldn’t have been possible without our good friends at @ukplanettools 🙏🏻 Stay tuned while we work on the stripping of our 95’ Honda Accord 💨 #gravityshow #ukplanettools
