Carrie by Stephen King review I saw @kmo.reads post that she had a group of readers who were going to read ALL of Stephen King's books IN ORDER! I thought this was perfect since I need to read a lot of pages by the end of the year. One of the main reasons I made a page goal, not so much a book goal this year was so that I would focus on my larger books aka my SK books. I wasn't sure which one I wanted to start with so this was PERFECT for me. (I have read a handful of SK books over the years) I did not know this was his first book nor could I tell when I was reading it. Stephen King is a naturally gifted writer. I loved how the book was not a straight story but more of an interview style that was made into a story. I know I'm not explaining this well but I'm trying y'all! I did see the movie well before I read this book. But, I think almost everyone has seen Carrie! It was the PERFECT book to kick off spooky season which officially started September 1 but unofficially starts around the time my kid goes back to school. 😆 If you haven't read Carrie and are thinking about it I definitely recommend it! Next up is Salem's Lot! I'm about 120 pages in and loving it so much!!

I’ve actually got a COFFEE for my #coffeeandcurrentlyreading instead of tea this time!👏🏻☕️ It’s no secret that I’m reading multiple books at once at the minute, but nothing’s grabbing me!😭 • I recently got Naomi’s Room in the post and I want to start it straight away after hearing the incredible reviews saying that it’s terrifying...I want to be the judge of that😂 I finished reading the first Series of Unfortunate Events book in one-sitting last night and now I want to carry on the series immediately but I’m forcing myself to hold off😂 • I’m having an especially hard time at home at the minute and mentally feel like I’m down a drain so that’s why I’ve not been as active on here since I’ve not felt like reading recently😅But speaking to you all makes me feel better so I’m sticking around😌💜
