"Keep Moving Forward" That is the phrase that one of the most influential people in my life, my biological father, was obsessed with. When I was a kid, I didn't think much of it, just thought it was only a phrase he liked. Now, about to graduate, I understand my father and his words more and more every day. There's a different feeling when I realized that everything I have experienced in my life, whether good or bad, made me the person I am today. It's a different sense of accomplishment when I accomplished what my father never did, and though our relationship was misunderstood for the majority of my life, I know he would be the person cheering loudest for me. On a separate note, the friends I have made these 4 years have really helped me create a sense of identity that I will carry for me with the rest of my life. These friends are practically my brothers and sisters and I will never forget how special and wonderful they are, no matter how much time goes by. Keep moving forward.
