In my life I’ve found that the greatest obstacles have not been what or who is around me. Embarrassingly my biggest challenges often times have been what’s going on inside my own head. This is why daily I have to examine and anyalaze my thoughts. Below are two scriptures that have been helpful.

Proverbs 23:7 Romans 12:2 Philippians 4:13

The work you put in should show up when it’s time to compete. 💪🏐

That’s the purpose behind sport-specific training at @grayfittraining2.0

Whether it’s volleyball, basketball, or any other sport, the goal isn’t just to get athletes stronger. It’s to develop strength, power, explosiveness, and movement that actually translate to their performance.

During this volleyball session, you could see the intention behind every drill. Robyn Gray and her staff bring the energy, knowledge, and expectations to push athletes beyond simply going through the motions.

Because training hard is one thing. Training with a purpose is what makes the difference.

Before Jesus multiplied the bread, He gave the disciples an instruction. And before the people received the miracle, they had to respond to that instruction.

Let's look at it a little deeper.

Jesus established order before the miracle.

John 6:10 (KJV) - "And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand."

Think about the sequence:

There was a problem… thousands of hungry people.

The disciples recognized their resources were insufficient.

Jesus gave an instruction to have the people sit down.

The disciples and the crowd responded.

Jesus gave thanks and multiplied the food.

Jesus already had the power to feed everyone before they sat down.

But He chose to involve people in the process.

And that's where I believe there's a practical spiritual lesson for us all.

Sometimes we're praying for something that we haven't prepared ourselves to receive.

Imagine someone praying for financial increase while refusing to manage the money they already have.

Or someone praying for a stronger marriage while refusing to address the habits damaging their relationship.

Or someone asking God to open doors while neglecting the responsibilities already in front of them.

Could it be that sometimes the breakthrough we're praying for requires us to first become better stewards of what God has already entrusted to us?

ankle rehab | ep. 01 🏀✝️

as a young college hooper, all I wanna do is get healthy and be back out there with my brothers before the season starts. but through this process, God has really been teaching me patience and reminding me that my relationship with Him comes before the game. definitely not easy sitting out, but I’m learning that sometimes you gotta slow down and let God work on you too.

one day at a time, we’ll be back soon. God willing! 🤞🏽✝️
