📸Choosing the right photographer to kickstart your child’s modeling journey can be overwhelming, but I’m here to help. Photos provided by @nahbee_photography 📸📸📸

Here are some tips to consider:

👶👧🏽🧒Choose photographers skilled in working with kids. They will know how to bring out your child’s natural charm and personality. Avoid lifestyle or influencer photographers, as they cater to different modeling styles.

🚩Avoid photographers who edit too much. While heavy editing might make your child look amazing, agents see it as a red flag. Let your child's unique qualities shine through, such as crooked teeth, freckles, braces…etc. Look for a photographer who can provide both close-up and full-body compositions.

👗Clothing Tips for the Shoot: Choose multiple solid-colored outfits and avoid distracting patterns or logos. Layering can add versatility to the looks. Bring more outfits than required for your package—aim for 5-6 options if opting for a 3-look package—to give the photographer flexibility.

💰Budget Considerations: Photographer prices vary widely, so research to find a balance between quality and affordability. If budget constraints are a concern and you’re seeking representation, submitting digital photos taken with your phone is acceptable.

📱Taking Perfect Digitals: Ensure a clean background and position the phone at eye level with your child. Take photos from the chest up, with 1 inch above their head, then repeat for side profiles. Step back for a full-body shot from head to toe.

☝️By following these steps, you can make an informed decision and set the stage for a successful start to your child’s modeling career.

Was this helpful in finding the right photographer and preparing for a shoot

Yesterday was my last class working with @youngactorshq . This was an amazing experience and I can’t wait to join again! (Unfortunately that will be in a year since my fall is very chaotic with my high school’s musical) These people were so amazing and extremely talented and I’m so glad I got to be apart of such an incredible group of people. Special thanks to our teacher @ryanjinnstagram for helping us better our skills. ALSO thanks to everyone in that class (I could only find 2 of the other’s instagrams, but if the others come across this then Hi!!) @carrarajade and @graysonjameslawrence . You guys did amazing! Hope to work with both of you again next year!!

@youngactorshq I can’t believe there is only 1 more week, this class has been so much fun and I’m honestly sad that it’s over soon. Everyone was so nice and (mostly) energetic , and everyone celebrated each other’s successes. This was such a kind and welcoming group of people and I’m sad that I only get to spend one more Sunday with ALL of these people. Will miss you lots guys <3
