This summer was a beautiful one. God was moving in so many ways and all throughout this island everyday and his presence was felt! Thank you to all the people that I have met along the way who have grown me and have loved me so well! Praise the Lord for another summer full of bringing others closer to him and another summer full of growth! I love this place and I never want to go ❤️

Almost a year ago, the Lord provided me with the courage to reach out about Camp Canaan and how I can grow in my faith. He showed me how genuine and supportive a person can be. I was so new to learning about who the Lord is and what He provides. I’ve always had this constant desire to draw near the Lord, despite how I grew up, so being given the opportunity to surround myself with those like-minded was something I never thought would happen. I am forever thankful for those who exemplified that Christ-like love. The decision to be baptized is something that has been weighing on my chest for a while now, and being at Canaan showed me that this decision was right for me. I have never felt more steady in my faith and I do not see myself leaving the Lord behind. I now truly understand what it means to accept the Lord and to understand the price He payed on the cross. I want to thank everyone who played a role in my walk with God. I give full praise to the Lord in all and for answering my prayer to be a CIT this summer. I am filled with joy in proclaiming my faith and I understand that I cannot do anything without the Lord.
