🍷 THREE VENUES. THREE COURSES. ONE NIGHT.

Think bar crawl… but make it dinner. 🍽️

On Sunday 4th October, we’re teaming up with @grazetapas and @toastnewquay for a slightly different kind of night out.

Your evening will take you around three venues, with a different course at each stop…

🧀 5.30pm — The Bottle
We’ll kick things off with snacks, cheese & charcuterie, plus a welcome wine, beer or cocktail.

🍽️ 7pm — Graze Tapas ~ wine
Then it’s on to Graze for a table full of delicious tapas for the main event!

🍸 9pm — Toast
Finally, we’ll head to Toast for dessert or cheeseboard and maybe even a whisky or two to finish the night properly.

£60 per person

Three venues. One big night of eating, drinking and wandering around town. What could possibly go wrong? 😏

Places are limited, so DM us or email us for details on how to book, what’s included and the menus.

📍 @grazetapas — our second time visiting and it never disappoints!! 🤤✨

The staff go through the menu with you and make it really clear which dishes are suitable, as well as what can be adjusted — which makes ordering so easy, spoilt for choice!!

We also ended up ordering the Chorizo to share… because obviously we couldn’t resist 🙊😂

If you’re planning a trip to Newquay, I’d definitely recommend booking a table! 🙌🏻🍴

Earlier in the week, I visited @grazetapas 🇪🇸

I was absolutely obsessed from the first plate. As a tapas restaurant, they encourage you to choose multiple options. I started with the Iberico Bellota Sobrasada. This featured chargrilled sourdough with a pork sausage soaked in honey. This was the perfect balance of meat with something sweet and I loved it immensely.

Next, I had the Charred Butternut Squash with toasted seeds, mustard remoulade and smoked almond dressing. Once again, these were chargrilled and this created an elaborate flavour combination against the natural sweet succulence of the squash. Truly exquisite.

I also had the Duck Bomba with aioli. The duck in the centre was fresh and vibrant and the aioli dressing topped it off nicely. I also had the Frittelle from the specials menu, which featured three miniature potato doughnuts surrounded by hot honey. These were absolutely gorgeous.

Finally, I had the Crema Catalana for dessert. This was, in simple terms, a creme brulee. It arrived with fire coming off the top of it which was an exciting way to present the pudding. I paired this with the matching liqueur of the same name and also a Licor 43 Chocolate. I was left satiated and impressed by everything I had here.

One of our favourite additions to the new menu is the last page…

We call it ONWARD

It’s a little collection of independent places we’d happily send our friends to after they’ve left us - whether that’s somewhere for dinner, a late-night drink or the perfect coffee the next morning.

Great food. Great wine. Great entertainment. Great breakfast.

Newquay is full of them.

And yes, while we’d like to think we’ve got the cocktails covered, we’re equally happy pointing you towards some of our favourite neighbours.

Where would you send someone visiting Newquay?

Mixed Tapas 🇪🇸
📍Graze, Newquay, Cornwall

John Food is down south again.

This tapas spread was outstanding! The chorizo was cooked perfectly in a thick honey sauce, and the patatas bravas were crisp all over! The Gambas Pil Pil was delicious and the prawns inside felt very fresh! The chargrilled chicken skewer was my personal favorite item, with an amazing finish to the meat while still being super soft and juicy inside! We also had some of the Iberico Bellota Sobrasada, which was Iberico ham pounded with some spices and honey and spread on sourdough bread like a paste, which as absolutely amazing. For dessert I had a pear carpaccio with Spanish blue cheese which was nice and different but maybe a little heavy on the cheese to pear ratio in my opinion, and Mrs Food had a Basque cheesecake which she was very impressed with.

Overall light 10

Tucked away near the harbour, @grazetapas feels like the kind of place you’d hope to stumble across on a long Mediterranean weekend 🍷

Sharing plates piled high with jamón, croquetas, padrón peppers and perfectly poured sangria, all served in a warm, intimate space just moments from the sea.

It’s relaxed, unfussy and designed for lingering, the sort of restaurant where one glass becomes two, and dinner quietly stretches into the evening.

A little taste of the Mediterranean, right here in Newquay.

Save this for your next date night, catch-up with friends or post-beach dinner 📍
