Frankfort is a spirited place in October.

Bourbon on the Banks kicks off Oct. 2 with Bourbon Street on Broadway, which is a free street fair in the Capital City.

The following Friday, thousands of witches and warlocks will fill the quaint downtown for Witches Night Out. This popular event is also free.

Suzy from Downtown Frankfort, Inc. and Ellie with Capital City Museum share all of the festive secrets with Elle Bottom from Great Day Live.

The last one 😭

Not sure how well these fans compare to the actual artist at Louder Than Life, but they certainly brought the energy!

A BIG thank-you to @ellemariebottom and the amazing team @greatdaylive for having us on the show this morning! We loved the opportunity to share more about our mission, celebrate Big Brothers Big Sisters Month, and give you a little sneak peek at what’s lighting up Kentuckiana tomorrow. 💚✨

That's right — tomorrow night, local landmarks and buildings across Kentucky and Southern Indiana will light up GREEN to raise awareness for youth mentoring and the growing need for more caring adult mentors.

So if you spot something glowing green in Louisville, Clarksville, or even Bardstown tomorrow, snap a selfie and tag us! 💡

#BBBSMonth #AFutureBuiltOnMentorship Three smiling hosts/guests stand together on the WHAS11 "Great Day Live" set in front of a purple backdrop, posing to thank and promote Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana during BBBS Month, with autumn decorations and a centerpiece on a coffee table.
