We’ve been captured on canvas many times over the centuries, but this collage by Green Magpie really is perfection in its detail.

Local artist Jo recreates all kinds of city businesses as well as private homes in teeny tiny pieces of paper that are all hand-cut - right down to the last brick.

When I book a shoot, I also block out time for the edit which means my diary gets quite full quite fast.

I had an enquiry the other day from someone who wanted a shoot later that same month. That’s just not really possible, as much as I’d like it to be.

So please do take look online if you are interested in a shoot in 2027 - yes, I’m busy (and so grateful to be!) but I don’t actually do that MANY shoots per month so it’s quite easy for me to be booked up.

Whose studio next? So exciting….

Also, BOOKINGS: I had an enquiry this week about a shoot in October which sadly I can’t do. Just a reminder, I get booked up quite far in advance as I only shoot 3-4films a month and have three regular clients. I also block out at least 3 days for an edit in my diary and factor that into my schedule on confirmation of the shoot.

I’m taking new shoots on from January 2027 (April is full).

What do you get the man who has everything? 😂 well for our 20th anniversary Jo came to the rescue and made me this most stunning picture of our holiday together this year in Thailand. (It was obviously really for me! 👍) I am so thrilled with it Jo, and have to share your beautiful work here, you are so creative! Thank you, it will be treasured by us. ❤️

This is @holdenfarmuk - where countryside and cafe go beautifully hand in hand 💗🌾

Just a 10 minute drive (5 miles) from Alresford, you will find Holden Farm, a beautiful fourth-generation, family-owned farm within the South Downs National Park. Its seasonal outdoor cafe is surrounded by wonderful views across the working farm and is such a lovely place to slow down, enjoy amazing locally sourced food and drink and soak up the Hampshire countryside.

Holden Farm has been cared for by the Corbett family for over 100 years and is now lovingly run by Charlie and Susie Corbett alongside their daughter, Becca. There is such a warm sense of family and community here and their support for other local businesses can be seen throughout the cafe.

The menu champions locally sourced Hampshire food and drink, with speciality coffee, delicious sandwiches and toasties, sausage rolls, ice cream, homemade cakes and so much more! You’ll find produce from @evans.of.alresford @rivercoffeeuk @little_house_of_cake @westleafarmshop @judesicecream @honey_bee_happy.1 @blackmoororchards @biglandsbakery @flat.whitescoffee @iowtomatoes @butterbikeco Clarkes Dairy - and the list continues to grow too!

There’s also plenty to enjoy alongside the cafe. Their recently upgraded tractor park is a brilliant place for children to be entertained on the ride-on tractors, there’s a lovely little shop selling products from local suppliers and being just off the South Downs Way, it’s a great place to visit on a countryside walk or cycle.

And if you’d like to stay a little longer, there is a traditional family campsite and a beautifully restored shepherd’s hut available to book too!

One of the things we’ve loved most about our first six months has been seeing the incredible creativity that surrounds us here in Winchester.
