Balancing art, ecology and engineering to create thoughtful and meaningful landscapes // Tim O’Shea & DJ Johns (CA LA #3956), principals

Last night in Healdsburg was a beautiful celebration of design, community, and the people who make this industry so special.

A special thank you to IRG Stone, the presenting sponsor of the Design Healdsburg Welcome Party—and, to me, so much more than a partner. They’ve become my adopted family in the design community. Their passion for natural stone, their incredible eye for sourcing, and their collection of truly exceptional slabs make them a standout resource for designers and architects.

From rare marbles and quartzites to onyx and other extraordinary natural stones, IRG consistently brings materials that elevate a project from beautiful to unforgettable.

So grateful to celebrate alongside my IRG family, surrounded by so many talented people in the design community, in one of Healdsburg’s newest gathering spaces.

Design. Stone. Community. Sonoma. What a night.

Excited to see our project featured in @cahomeanddesign We loved being part of bringing this 1960s Ross residence to life alongside @hkbinteriordesign. The home features new decks cantilevered over a hillside slope to blur the line between inside and out. Link in bio to read the full feature! #ftfengineering #structuralengineering

A tale as old as time: What started as a small-scale remodeling project ultimately encompassed the whole house.

It all began when designer Ansley Majit, founding principal at L+P Interiors, and the clients decided that the layout would work much better if the location of the kitchen, which had windows to the back and doors to the front, was swapped with the neighboring family room — a dark, ill-proportioned space.

Learn how the renovation went in our bio 🔗

Thank you @green17design for the wonderful evening to celebrate your 10 years in business!

Community is a core value here at Sol and we are constantly in awe and inspired by the excellence and great talent of the architects, designers and artisans we work with.

Cheers to 10 years & many more to come!

The Knot Yacht Club in Pt. Richmond was the perfect venue along with the pink full moon and great company 🙏

Some gardens are meant to be admired, and others—like this St. Helena haven by Tim O’Shea of @green17design—are meant to be lived in. Inspired by his clients’ love of Mediterranean landscapes, he designed outdoor “rooms” that bring intimacy to the land, making every corner an invitation to gather, linger, and unwind #luxeathome
