09.11.26 - Date night of heritage pork, local beets with feta, crispy potatoes with oyster mushrooms, and a cheese & charcuterie board to start off at one of our favorite spots @greendirtonoak

At our waitress’s recommendation, the heritage pork was outstanding!! Melt in your mouth, cooked perfectly. The beets were fresh and zesty, followed by the crunchy and crispy potatoes to round out the mains. And then the house-made cheeses from @greendirtfarm were the perfect way to start the date night meal!

🧀 Start out at @greendirtonoak and share a cheeseboard and a glass of wine with friends. As it cools off, their rooftop patio is going to be fall PERFECTION I tell you. Wooly Rind and Dirt Lover were our favorite cheeses here.
🍸 Hop on over to @meanmuledistillingco for a spirits flight and a carajillo. (Maybe my favorite I’ve ever had) I’m obsessed with the natural light, cacti and Crossroad cool vibe here. And okay, yes I fan girled a bit over meeting Meg, the owner, because I admire her and have followed her forever 😉
🍺 Last stop, @borderbrewco for some brews and board games. I love the lounge-y little nook here!

Welcoming Chefs Andrew Longres of Acre @acre_kc and Bradley Gilmore of Lula Southern Cookhouse @lulakcsoco, alongside returning Chef Amante Domingo of Noka @nokakansascity, and Emily Krowe of @greendirtonoak on dessert, with drinks by Christopher Ciesel and The Campground @thecampgroundkc.

We’ve been looking forward to this since the final ember went out last year.
