The only reason I can think of to be delighted to step out of @welcomeconference is to attend the kickoff of the 2024 @beardfoundation ‘s Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Program. I’m honored to be in this year’s cohort of industry leaders; I’m excited to get to know them over the next few months; and I’m grateful to my team members at @kieslingdetroit, @milwaukeecaffe and @thisiscitizen, and the mentors who made this possible! I tagged the other women and their businesses in the cohort (okay, only ONE of their businesses per person because of limits tags to 20 but they do a LOT). Check them out - they’re helping to build the future of the F&B industry! #jbfwomenlead #goodfoodforgood

Coffee trips to Green Engine in Haverford ☕️

📍 green engine cafe, haverford
This wasn’t my own find and for that I am so glad. Latte was delicious. I don’t normally put cinnamon in coffee but they did for me and it just hit in all of the right ways. Also this is not a food page, let’s remember that. But they had chocolate chip cookie samples AND I HAVE to give a special mention to the BEC on a roll I had. It was literally phenomenal. Plus like … sweet treat. The staff was so great.

Vibes were great. Music was jazzy. I love the natural light and the amount of green (it is the green engine after all).
Going to be grouping the rating today for an overall 8.9. High rating. Great vibes good coffee. Will be returning.

📚At Green Engine Coffee reading our book club book and updating our flyer in their window! 📚

Want to join our book club on August 16th? Comment below and I will send you the details.

Ps: you don’t have to read the whole book or have a child that attends our school to join our book club!

Do you know of a place where we could hang our flyer? Let me know! I’m always looking for ways to get the word out about our special little school 🌞

Our stuffed animal sleepover is so much fun! Today we traveled the neighborhood! Big thanks to Salon Cachet for making us gorgeous, Cbop for letting us play dress up and Green Engine for the delicious hot cocoa and pastries. The @candlewickpress Big Bear read us a bedtime story and now we are all tucked in for the night! See you tomorrow!!!
