The boys… from kindergarten to senior year. A friendship they’ve grown up with, through every season, every team, and so many memories. These three have always shared something special—and right there with them has been G.T., Granddaddy Tim.

From school pickups to tournaments and practices, cheering them on in basketball and football, and coaching them for years in baseball… he has shown up. Over and over. Those everyday moments have built a bond that means more than words can say.

Today is a “Senior Sunday” they’ve been waiting for! G.T. and Mimi are taking all three boys on a cruise for their senior year fall break, celebrating their upcoming graduation and making another chapter of memories together. 🛳️

I can’t wait to hear the stories, the giggles, and all the little moments they’ll talk about for years. I know they’ll come home with an even stronger bond—and probably a few stories that stay on the ship. 😉

I love you all. As a mom, I’m so grateful my boy has a friendship to grow up with and grandparents who pour so much love into all three of them. What a gift to carry into the next chapter.

Small-town girl in high heels. The ’90s raised me, and my Southern roots run deep. Get ready with me while you get to know the heart behind APstyle—my family, my style, and this life I love every inch of, through every season it brings.

One thing I’ve learned: tend to your roots. Grow them deep enough to keep you steady through the hard times, then grow, grow, grow through the good.

Gosh, I’m so glad you’re here. Invite your friends and family—there’s room for everyone. Welcome home. Come back for part 2, and let’s finish this hair together! 🫶 Comment SHOP for links to what I used!

Anna Berkley, looking back on my camera roll & you have brought me more joy in just the last two weeks of 14 than I deserve in a year. You are so much FUN! FIFTEEN today, my sweet Aubrianna. Being your mama is one of the greatest gifts of my life. As much as I wish I could slow the years down, I love watching you become your own beautiful person. Always keep your kind heart for others baby girl.

I can’t wait for our birthday trip together—the laughs, the girl time, and all the little moments that will become memories we’ll keep forever. Happy 15th birthday! You are so very loved.

Some families pass down recipes. Around here, we pass down recipes AND a love for the Tennessee Vols. 🧡🤍

A little orange, a whole lot of food, and my favorite people gathered around before kickoff. Drew Holcomb’s “Tennessee” playing feels like the perfect soundtrack to these memories.

One day, I hope our kids remember the way game days felt—the excitement, the togetherness, and how there was always room for one more at our tailgate. 🏈 Tennessee is home, and cheering on the Vols is a family tradition. 🍊

Who else was raised in a house where Saturdays meant wearing orange? Comment VOLS for links.

The past 30 hours have been completely crazy—almost no sleep, but filled with dreams I have carried since I was a little girl. ✨

Rewind with me…

4:40 a.m. Wednesday — My alarm went off, and I headed to the gym for a workout with my husband—and my daughter joined us that day, too.

6:15 a.m. — Back home to finish my daughter’s homecoming poster, pack John Crewe’s lunch and take him to school.

After school drop-off, I had a Zoom interview with a Nashville magazine.

I visited with Greene before he headed to church—wearing this incredible new @burlebo piece.

After midweek Bible study, I stayed up laying out everything the kids would need and packing for New York Fashion Week.

3:00 a.m. Thursday — We left for the airport.

Then I arrived in New York City with the man who supports every one of my dreams. We grabbed a quick lunch after battling the crazy city traffic, rushed back to get dressed and headed out to the first of several NYFW shows.

Now, I’m sitting still in the back of an Uber with the chaos of the traffic and city life moving all around me—and I’m simply soaking it all in.

I am so grateful that I still get to chase my career dreams while knowing I have already found my greatest dreams in the people I call family.

Thank you to my sidekicks for always supporting me. Thank you to the brands who invited and hosted me and thank You, God, for making dreams bigger and more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. 🤍

Your front door is the handshake of your home — it’s the first introduction to what’s waiting inside. ✨

When we designed our home, I wanted the entrance to feel timeless, welcoming and completely personal to us. Not simply a pretty front door, but an architectural moment that set the tone for the entire house. I actually sketched the design for our doors myself, including the decorative motif, and then hand-painted the details and finished them with gold-leaf trim. It’s one of those details that could never have come straight out of a catalog — and that’s exactly why I love it.

We also elevated the entire entrance by:
• Raising the height of the porch and entry so it stood taller and felt more substantial against the rest of the home
• Creating a defined landscaped pathway that naturally draws your eye toward the doors
• Brightening the entrance to make it feel open and inviting
• Choosing timeless finishes rather than designing around a passing trend
• Using landscaping to soften the architecture and frame the entrance
• Adding handcrafted details that tell a little bit of our story

I think one of the biggest misconceptions about creating an elevated home is that everything has to be expensive or designer. It doesn’t.

The homes we remember are usually the ones with personality. Sketch something yourself. Paint a detail by hand. Add an unexpected finish. Plant something meaningful. Mix something old with something new. Look at the proportions of your entrance, not just the decor sitting around it.

Your home should give people a little glimpse of you before they ever walk through the door.

And sometimes the smallest personal detail is what makes a home feel the most luxurious.

Save this for your next exterior refresh.

There’s just something about Friday night lights in a small town. 🏈📣✨

The stadium lights come on, the stands fill up, the cheerleaders hit the sidelines, and suddenly it feels like the whole town is in one place. You see the same families you’ve known forever, kids running around beneath the bleachers, parents cheering a little too loudly, and teenagers making memories they don’t even realize they’ll miss one day.

It’s football. It’s cheerleading. It’s community. It’s tradition. And maybe that’s why Friday night is a love language in a small town.

These are the nights that feel ordinary while you’re living them… and become some of the sweetest memories when you look back.

Here’s to Friday Night Lights with a senior leading the pig pen and a freshman cheering on the sideline. I am soaking it up.
