On March 4th, 2026, I hosted the Visual Arts Society’s (@vasrcnj) First Annual Show and Tell exhibition. I created, curated, and installed this one-night exhibition of visual, written, and performance arts. The Show and Tell supports the arts at Ramapo College of New Jersey (@ramapocollegenj) by allowing students to display, talk about, and perform their artistry in a gallery space. A total of 28 artists exhibited 56 pieces, spanning across paintings, drawings, photographs, poems, and musical performances. This exhibition is the first of its kind in VAS history. Congratulations again to the five award winners of the night! For such a successful night, I’d like to thank all exhibiting artists, VVA co-founder Robert Modafferi, Sigma Tau Delta President Olivia, the Geek and Nerd Culture Club, and the VAS executive board of 2025-26. What’s vital to my efforts as President is fostering an active, creative, and welcome community that will serve students long after I graduate. I truly believe that art is for everyone and work hard to prove it—supporting artists to develop their skills, build connections, seize opportunities, and express themselves. #RCNJ #ArtsatRCNJ #StudentSuccess #ArtExhibition #ArtGallery

I created, juried, and installed the Visual Arts Society’s Juried Art Exhibition of Fall 2025. It is an incredible honor to revitalize VAS (@vasrcnj) through one of its oldest traditions: student art showcases. I’m grateful that we can recognize, support, and celebrate the incredible student artists at Ramapo College of New Jersey (@ramapocollegenj). This gallery provided students of all majors, skill levels, and art disciplines to exhibit their work. The Juried Art Exhibition was on display for two weeks in the Berrie Center Lounge, featuring 18 Ramapo student artists and 26 artworks total. The exhibition, being the first of its kind in VAS history, was juried by Geri Hahn (@geri.g.hahn), Professor Joel Weissman and myself, VAS President and multidisciplinary student artist. We each awarded a student for their art. Along with our jurors, I’d like to thank VVA co-founders Robin Keller and Robert Modafferi, Ramapo Art Gallery Director Sydney Jenkins, and the executive board members of 2024-26 who have worked passionately to reestablish VAS. Our collective efforts will set a strong foundation for VAS to support the arts at RCNJ for many years to come. #StudentLeadership #ArtsatRCNJ #VisualArtsSocietyRCNJ #RamapoCollege #RCNJ
