March moments 💌

Ever since acotar book 6 & 7 was announced I decided it was finally time to pull the plug and continue the series with ACOWAR. A book I’m famous for delaying for about 8 years 🤣 I finally locked in and LOVED IT SM. my first 5 ⭐️ of the year!

📺 March consisted of watching lots of shows including: SLOMW, The Pitt, Love Story, & RHOBH. my tv show range should be studied (jk)

🎬I also recently watched Project Hail Mary and I LOVED IT !!!! Should I give the book a chance?

🌼🌷🌸 Happy April 1st! Tomorrow is my birthday and I’m very excited to be spending it with my friends 🎂

To half a decade & counting ✨🎞️🎉

As my 5 year Bookstagram Anniversary was approaching I became reflective and reminiscent of everything that this account has serendipitously led me to. From endless book recs, favorite reads, genuine friendships, creative opportunities, unforgettable trips, & dreams turned into realities 🥹 I am forever grateful!!!

In honor of today I put together a small collection of highlights, moments, and the unexpected routes I went on before ending up where I am now.

2020 me had no idea making an account to talk about books during a worldwide pandemic would change the whole trajectory of my life.. it is easily one of the best decisions I have ever made.

a little check-in/update 💫

hiiiii!!!! how’s everyone doing?? i wanted to share a little update because it’s been a while. i’ve spent these past couple of days super sick but we’re pulling through.

what ive been reading: ive been on a high when it comes to reading. i read The Irresistible Urge to Fall For Your Enemy (4⭐️) and had a good time. there’s something about a good old enemies to lovers book that does it for me especially when the guy is the first to fall in love 🤭 *side note, i did notice some few parallels to the fanfic which made me happy* very excited for the next book.

also, i had this huge urge to reread a song of achilles (5⭐️) i blame TikTok! somehow it was even better and more heartbreaking this time around 😭

currently reading, rose in chains and am about 50% in and dare i say it’s going to be a five star read for me. the world building and storyline is very intriguing and easy to understand. this one does have a lot more parallels to the fanfic (the auction) which has me kicking, giggling, and kicking my feet in the air. i will update once ive finished.

what ive been watching: started a new series called the buccaneers and i am loving it!!!! also, i didnt know this was where the iconic ‘she chose me’ audio is from omgggg. can’t decide if im team theo or team guy.

went to go watch the new jurassic park movie. also, watched superman and dare i say dc is back?? 🤭 superman has always been my favorite dc hero and david corenswet did an incredible performance. also, he is sooooo charlie lastra coded iykyk
lastly, went to go watch the love of my life in fantastic four and i absolutely loved it!!!!! everything felt so accurate to the comics and everyone did a stellar job. the end credit scene ahhhhh im so excited for what’s to come.

can’t forget the summer i turned pretty, team conrad foreverrrr that’s all im saying.

random things: built the ghost 💫 and took our monthly trip to Disneyland!

that’s all folks. hope you’ve all been well and talk to you soon 🫶🏻

My long distance friend & I keep in touch by doing what we call a “Wrapped Wednesday” where we share an update, highlight, and something random about our lives.

Here’s mine, book & Summer edition!!

⭐️ Update: 4 books, almost 5, into the month of July and thriving. I haven’t read this much in a while. It feels like the 2020/2021 era of staying up late and waking up early with the first thought of my current read.

⭐️ Highlight: This Summer break has been busy & filled with so many memories already. I’m grateful for all that I’ve done, seen, & the people I’ve shared moments with!! The end is coming soon but I’m savoring what’s to come and the much needed rest before starting my last year of SLP graduate school.

⭐️ Random: I’ve become a huge women’s basketball fan over the last few months. Kept up with March Madness & am currently following the W. I’m going to another game this weekend in SF and am so excited !!!!
