Grateful is the best word to describe this season. 🙏🏾

19.52 PB and WL in the 200m.
Three Diamond League wins. 💎💎💎
Diamond League Champion.🏆
Ultimate Champion 100m & 200m.🏆🏆
World No. 1 in the 200m.
World No. 2 in the 100m.

For the first time in my pro career, I was able to compete for an entire year healthy and injury free. There were difficult years that tested my body, my patience and my belief. I kept working, even when the results didn’t reflect the effort. This season was a reminder of what’s possible when everything comes together.

To my entire team: thank you for believing in me, caring for my body and keeping me prepared, focused and confident through every high and low. To my family and everyone who supported me, encouraged me and showed me love throughout this journey: I felt it every step of the way 🙏🏾

The journey is far from over, and I’m more motivated than ever for what comes next. See you in 2027. 🥋

Love isn’t about finding someone exactly like you it’s about finding someone who balances you, understands you, and keeps choosing to be on your team through all of it, without wanting to change you🤍

Different personalities. Same love. Same team.

What an AWESOME job by Coach Dennis Mitchell and the entire GREEN MACHINE! 💚🇺🇸🏆

When you look at the consistency over these championship years—2023, 2024, 2025—and now this off-year preview in 2026, you have to respect the coaching, preparation, and process behind these performances.
As a High-Performance Olympic Podium Coach myself, I know what it takes to prepare athletes not only physically, but MENTALLY, for the moments when the lights are brightest. Coach Mitchell, you continue to have your athletes prepared in both MIND & BODY, and what we just witnessed was a GREAT PREVIEW of what could be coming in 2027 and ultimately LA28. 🔥
Congratulations to Kung Fu Kenny, Lightning Lindsey, Cool Coleman, The Sha’, and Magnetic Melissa! ⚡🔥💪🏾

And a special congratulations to that Blast from the Past himself—Coach “Green Machine” Mitchell! 💚

You all were AWESOME, but the exciting part is—you’re just getting started.

Stay hungry. Stay humble. Trust the process. Keep building.
2027 is coming…and then it’s on to LA28! 🇺🇸🥇

Much respect and congratulations to the entire team. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

WORLD LEAD!!! 🚀

Melissa Jefferson-Wooden 🇺🇸 clocked 10.62 seconds (-0.2) to win the women’s 100m at the World Athletics Ultimate Championships in Budapest.

It’s the second-fastest time of her career.
