The first statement Lena said at our initial creative meeting was, “I don’t want a barn wedding, even though we are hosting the reception in a barn.”

We heard you!

From that moment on, every design decision supported that statement. What resulted was a sophisticated and elevated party that just so happened to have a wood element in the design.

When we first met with Meg and Chris, they made it clear that it was immensely important to them that the design of their special day was timeless and that a huge piece was bringing the outside to the inside of the Pittsburgh Field Club.

From a tree lined entryway guiding guests to the ceremony to custom made linens, every detail chosen added to the timeless guest experience.

So often, when people talk about design, they talk about the stuff of it all. We like to think of design through the lens of the guests as they move through the party and the possible vignettes used for photos that will be treasured for years to come after. After all, we want any event we are involved in to not only look magical in photos, but to FEEL magical in real time.

Thank you to Meg and Chris (and Meg’s Mom, Maribeth) for including us on such an important day in your life. 💚

When @fairmontpittsburgh asked us to design a lobby display for the summer, we thought a lot about what summer FEELS like in the city.

To us, it’s about being with friends/family and the summertime celebrations (PRIDE, Art’s Fest, sportsball games, so, so many concerts, etc.) and all of the joy they bring to the city.

So, if you find yourself eating at fl. 2 or having a staycation at the Fairmont, take a moment to try to find the one butterfly we hid in the display or snap a photo with your favorite people. Don’t forget to tag us!

If you’re going to @taylorswift concert at @acrisurestadium , be safe and have a great time!

sometimes i forget how fortunate i am that i am doing something every single day that i loveeee. alongside some amazing vendors and favorite friends...
today. was. a. dream.

this was ultimately the first “styled shoot” where we choose the venue and vendors completely, for @pennsylvania_weddings.

@greensinner created a “private-dining” personal-space experience with flowers and blew us away.

@dawnderbyshirephotography walked through the entire shoot showing 20 photographers her techniques and we are so thankful for all the photos to come from everyone. until then...💫
