My 11 year-old Fitzroy heart could never dream of this. The Sunday walk to BSO is my favourite part, ‘Roys coming from every angle as though emerging from a great lion’s sleep in Edinburgh Gardens.

Hello Melbourne 👋 Explore @thomasjprice__’s large scale sculptures, ‘All In’ (2021) and ‘Reaching Out’ (2020) featured in NGV Triennial (@ngvmelbourne) 🔛

Standing directly on the ground, these sculptures eschew the implicit ‘elevation’ of a statue on a plinth in public space. Together they confront the lack of people of colour represented in public statuary.

Head to the link in bio to learn more and plan your visit through 7 April 2024
