A huge thank you to all of the lecturers and attendees of the first Stay in LA lecture series/convention. My first time organizing and/ hosting such a thing. It was incredible. Such wonderful people and so much wisdom shared. And of course a huge thank you to @randysinnott and @illusionmagiclounge for all the work they did and for letting me do this thing.

Check out this stacked day of TALENT!

A little bit about our Day of Lectures (slash mini convention) coming up this weekend. What makes us different than other magic lecture days? We have an emphasis on not just teaching tricks, but will offer discussion on staging and moving from the world of close-up to the stage.

Did someone say…. Magic? 🪄

Ohhh, you meant @sixflagsmagicmountain

Turns out I’m totally allergic to the trees in Valencia.

Speaking of magic though, my friend @greg.vanholsbeck put on a rad magic show in Claremont and I got to go with my favorite physicist.

Love it when my people get picked to choose cards.

Congrats on a super fun show!
Btw, this is my first time trying multiple captions on Insta, did I do this right?

Dear June,
thank you for expanding me into depths of myself I didn’t know I had within me. The 30 days of you were continually filled with experiences & emotions I could have never predicted. I did try though. Tried to control the current, & sometimes too late realizing that the best (& only) choice of action was to control my response to the current’s surges. These 20 photos hardly do the month justice. Participating in bringing to life an activation for the world stage via KIA for FIFA (at NINE locations) is something I’ll never forget. To the people who crossed my path, the conversations that brought me into my body instead of living in my head, many tears because that’s my body’s chosen path in releasing energy, Father’s Day, friendships, fur babies, 5 hr journal sesh, & sunshine…… June. We did it. Half the year complete & second half to go. Not sure about you, but my primary goal from here on out is the recalibration of my nervous system✨🌻🧑🏼‍🩰🌱

MASSIVE THANK YOU! Magic Mondays came about after I had done an open mic and The Kookaburra Lounge asked if @whiterabbit_la and I could collaborate to create a magic show for their lounge. It was a very exciting thought and then challenging at the same time as I had to figure out how to book the best magicians in Southern California and in some cases, the country, to perform at this show.

After reaching out to many, I am very grateful for the huge roster of magicians who said yes! Hosting each show and being able to see these wonderful performers share their gifts on stage has been nothing less than beautiful and inspiring.

The last show of our 2025 season will be on 11/17/25 but we will be back in 2026. I am excited to see how this show will grow in the future. My hope is it turns into a premier show with a huge following, hosting the biggest magicians. Thank you to all the magicians who participated in Magic Mondays and a big thank you to @officialkatiecazorla and @thekookaburralounge for having this wonderful show. Stay tuned for season 2!
