No power = games/cards in the basement with camping lights for the win. Then when you realize at 10pm your neighbor with the generator's wifi reaches your porch and you all know the password: outside for the teens commenced. Other than not enjoying trying sleep in the heat it could go out 1x a week for me if these are the results. Lots of fun and laughing.

Here is to the end of Semester 2️⃣ at the 🪨.

The semester of ups and downs. I was apart of so many shows and experiences this semester, that though there were many bumps in the road, it has helped me grow much within myself.

Getting to be apart of the Macbeth cast was such an amazing experience. To put on my Shakespeare goggles and step into a role I didn’t know if I could do was a huge step in my acting career. Being apart of The Singer of Shanghai cast, and performing in Ohio in front of an audience was something I’ll never forget. Grease was the first musical I was ever apart of, and though I got severely injured on opening night, I was able to be humbled in my abilities and push through the number. Regardless, the show will go on. I wouldn’t take back the struggles of late night rehearsals every night even if it meant I was not dealing with a torn ACL, and other injuries in my knee that is going to be a long healing process. Though I may not be able to dance or play sports again for awhile, I will return to the stage and field sooner than later. 🤞🏻

To my sorority and my friends at college, thank you for making my second semester here a good one. If you would have asked me a year from now how many friends I have, I wouldn’t be able to say nearly as many as I do now. I thank my sorority for the amazing sisters I have gained, the amazing opportunities to be a better person everyday and to give back to the community. I can’t wait to grow more in the chapter and make more ever lasting memories. 💜

To my family and to my teachers. This semester has been a tough one, (no pun intended go check out my song guys), I couldn’t have gotten through it without my family being a text or phone call away. Though you guys are over 300 miles away, I know why I am even doing what I am doing, and you guys remind me everyday to keep chasing my dreams and to never give up. To look always at the positives and not so much the negatives. Thank you also to my teachers who taught me so much and helped me grow tremendously as an actress. I’m so excited for this long break and recovery process over summer. I look forward to what the fall brings, but for now, break. ❤️

Thank you for taking a blast to the past with us for our two fabulous, completely student-run productions of Macbeth and Grease.
We truly appreciate everyone who showed up and showed out for these shows, and we can’t wait to see you this Sunday for our Medieval themed banquet! 🏰🐎⚔️
