Framed by leadlight windows, the staircase in the entry hall of Gordon House forms a sculptural focal point, its sinuous balustrade and deep purple runner bringing rhythm to the space.

A warm, sophisticated bathroom where blush-toned stone tiles evoke mermaid scales. A skylight floods the space with natural light, keeping the palette fresh, feminine and youthful.

Rather than referencing a single era, Oklahoma House is a curated convergence of periods and aesthetics working in tandem. The primary suite is no exception - swathed in merlot marble, it feels neither purely classic nor strictly contemporary, but an enduring expression of both.

Last week was pretty special… I was inducted into the 2025 @bellemagazineau Belle Hall of Fame, and I’m still smiling about it. Such a great night surrounded by good people, good energy, and lots to celebrate.

Big thanks to @fanulifurniture Fanuli for hosting us so beautifully, and to @subzerowolfaust Sub-Zero for the support. And thanks to everyone who’s been part of the ride — couldn’t do what I do without you.

Lately, I’ve been reminded of something essential about design — something that often gets overlooked in a world that keeps whispering that less is more.
But sometimes… more is more.

My journey in design has been shaped by that belief. Maximalism, to me, is not excess — it’s expression. Not clutter, but culture. Not noise, but narrative. It’s a language with history, meaning and emotional resonance. Minimalism may speak in silence, but maximalism speaks in stories — stories of life, memory and personality.

And if this honour means anything, let it be this: that design at its best is not about following rules, but about following passion. It’s about daring to see the world in full colour. It’s about embracing the things that move us, shape us, challenge us, and ultimately define us.

Thank you @ms.tanyabuchanan @bellemagazineau for recognising my journey—and for honouring a life lived in design, in devotion, and yes… in more.

A night to remember. ✨

Thank you so much to the Belle team. It’s an honour to have New York House on the cover this month, and to be recognised with the Hall of Fame award at the Belle/Fanuli Interior Design Awards.
Design, for me, has always been about storytelling, and I’m grateful to be able to share that narrative through projects like this. Maximalism is my language — a celebration of memory, personality and meaning — and I’m thrilled to see it resonate with others.
Thank you again for the support and for championing the power of expressive interiors. #GregNatale #GregNataleDesign #InteriorDesign #Interiors #ArchitectureAndDesign #DesignerInteriors #AustralianDesign #LuxuryInteriors #InteriorArchitecture #ModernInteriors #ContemporaryInteriors #DesignStudio #DesignInspiration #InteriorInspo #HomeDesign

With its layered architectural references, from reinstated Federation details to a new rear extension, tiled walls, and marble portals, Gordon House owes its realisation to the skilled, artisanal touch of Ciolino Constructions. Our dear friends Vince and Melissa, together with their son Salvatore, always bring our vision to life! @ciolinoconstructions
