Picking up my analogs yesterday reminded me to appreciate my privileged life. last year was a wild ride of firsts, bouncing between innsbruck, freiburg, travels in morocco, the balkans, italy, france, switzerland and my hometown ravensburg. lived the innsbruck life until i wrecked my knee snowboarding. finished my master’s thesis. got to fly a plane over the dolomites for coffee in italy haha, went to a casino for the first time, and won money to book my first solo trip. traveled in morocco, surfed (and nosedived), and discovered mountain biking as a new passion for home. highlight? grandpa still drumming at his 95th! made working experience in 99 different companies haha. but not everything went smoothly: dealt with many gut issues, and my knee is still a mess. crashed countless times trying to ride my bike, wakeboarding, and faceplanted my first auerbach flip. also hit my limit of mental health many times in 2024 trying to be everywhere and take every chance. love having friends all over the place and do so much cool stuff, but it’s chaotic. my shiatsu masseur told me my fire was burning too much and that i need to ground myself. so, let’s grow, set priorities and slow down my thunderstorm a little. let’s go on a hopefully less bumpy ride in 2025, back with all my sunrays for my beloved ones and especially myself. 🤠🌞✨
