I came back to London after quite some time away, after having called this city home for almost 10 years.
I left with a heavy heart, but convinced it was the right thing to do. I was at a point in my life when everything had been turned upside down, spun around, and then thrown back into place, as if I was supposed to get back in line and do everything the right way.
London was moving too fast, and I decided I’d had enough.
But London made me who I am today. I owe so much to this city and to the people I’ve met along the way.
When Greg got in touch, he said, “I have a slot available on October 23rd.”
October 23rd!
My dad’s birthday is October 22nd, and I’m almost certain he had something to do with this.
I travelled here alone, carrying quite a lot of emotional baggage with me, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
