🖤 In Loving Memory of Matt Iwohn 🖤

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dear friend, Matt Iwohn. Matt’s journey through life was nothing short of remarkable. His love and passion for Jiu Jitsu shone brightly, especially during his time as a youth instructor at DC Jiu Jitsu.

Matt’s unwavering positivity and dedication, even in the face of his battle with cancer, were truly inspirational. Achieving his purple belt and continuing to train, he became a beacon of strength and resilience in our community.

There’s now a huge hole in the Northern Nevada Jiu Jitsu community without you, Matt. Your spirit and energy will be profoundly missed. Rest easy, brother, until we meet again.

First rank day in the books. Very grateful for finally being able to recognize these guys and gals. I look forward to building with them and growing alongside them.
