What a ripper of year! 🎊

We released our debut album, played a sold out headliner, shared the stage with huge acts, had the privilege of heading back to UK and Europe and play some amazing festivals and started earning a salary from something I love doing which is a dream come true 😍

We couldn’t have done any of this with all of you beautiful people believing in us and our message, your support is extremely appreciated and we are pushing through to deliver you music from the bottom of our hearts ❤️

2024 is gearing up to our biggest year yet, can’t wait to show you what we’ve been cooking up 🍳

🦷September Curse: A Sonic Analysis🧚🏻‍♀️

If you just want to know ! why I sound the way I do ! There’s a playlist for you in the bio link ! but if you want to know more about the writing and so on read this lil caption and then the photos in the post.

‘Microdosing’ almost didn’t exist because I completely forgot I started writing it and didn’t pick it up again until a bit later when I remembered. Usually my process is: mess around with chords until something sticks and look through old notes and things I’ve saved for inspiration on the lyrics. In this case, it was the other way around and I relied heavily on my voice memos and recordings to build it as I tend to leave a song and forget a lot of it unless I’ve recorded it.

Once it was done writing (it became ‘the best song I’ve ever written), I came to make a list of producers I’d love to work with who could bring forward the sound I wanted. Tristan made the most sense to the sound I’m seeking to create, his work with Sunbleached, and especially his work with Longing, both felt like the exact mix of all the bits I wanted. And, it really helped that he was equally as excited to jump onboard.
