Planning a music video? The camera isn’t the only thing that drives your budget.

Here’s what else does:
1️⃣ Location. A great location costs more, but one of them beats three average ones.
2️⃣ Set design. Building a world in limited time and space, one that helps the artist tell their story.
3️⃣ People and logistics. Every extra or dancer adds fees, wardrobe, catering and transport.

What a producer does before the first frame is shot:
⚡️breaks the idea down into days, locations and people
⚡️builds the budget and finds where it breaks
⚡️sorts out permits, insurance and a plan B for the weather
⚡️makes sure the crew is fed, paid and on time

🤲🏼 If the set feels calm, someone did the work weeks earlier.

But even with all the prep, things go off plan. That’s the job. Don’t fear the chaos, learn to love pulling it back together, because that’s how you back your director.

The best thing a producer can say is: “Let’s make your idea happen.” 🚀🤌🏼✨

The lesson from this project: don’t cut the idea. Change the way you get there. Adapt, and make it happen. 🥷
