As I attempt to connect with more singer-songwriters, another one I found and would love to give a shoutout to is @gretabelle. Like many of her fellow singer-songwriters, she has faced many obstacles in her life and talks about how important mental health is to her and writes about those experiences in her songs. She has also had experiences related to heartbreak and having been through a heartbreaking friendship breakup myself two years ago, I can relate to her songs about heartbreak and as someone with autism, I am also a strong mental health advocate. I’m so happy I found Greta and I hope to meet her at one of her L.A. shows sometime! Love you so much, Greta!

“Vienna” by @billyjoel arranged and produced by myself for Harp & Vocals. Featuring @anya_harpist on 🪉 and @gretabelle on 🗣️

I actually wasn’t super familiar with this tune until Greta recommended it to me. Thank you MIP III! Figuring out how to make the chromaticism work for the Harp was a “fun” (for me at least 😂) challenge…I do not think you can play this song on harp in all 12 keys. Thanks so much for listening, I hope you enjoy the music ❤️ 🎶

Recorded, Mixed, and Mastered by Eric Astor at The Hideaway
Videography: @josephs_studio_
Click Track/Slate Preparation: @enzoviannello

Special thanks to master teacher @patrice.rushen , who taught me how to write for the harp, and to harpist Carol Robbins, who first supported these arrangements and encouraged me to record them.

If you are interested in purchasing the sheet music for this arrangement you can visit the link in my bio to be directed to the store on my website ianwurfl.com/store
