Curating a life I love in KY with @artisansignaturehomes

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Luxury is about more than the home itself. It’s about the lifestyle it creates.

From the architecture of the home to the perfectly positioned pool, outdoor living spaces, and surrounding landscape, every element plays a part in the bigger picture.

At Artisan Signature Homes, we believe exceptional design doesn’t stop at the front door.

It’s about creating spaces that flow effortlessly from indoors to out, where every detail has a purpose and every space invites you to stay a little longer.

A 1955 Mockingbird Valley ranch, rebuilt for the way people actually want to live now — and it found exactly the right buyer.

The transformation made a case the market doesn't often get to see: single-level living as an upgrade rather than a compromise, with finishes and craftsmanship rarely offered at this level.

Grateful to our clients for trusting us with it.

The first photo was my inspiration long before we ever broke ground on our home. I knew I wanted dramatic, traditional-style windows in our family dining room — tall, timeless, and full of natural light.

The second photo is the “under construction” stage where that vision finally started becoming real. Then the final product.

One thing I always tell people building a custom home: start saving inspiration photos early. Months before. Even years before. Create folders. Screenshot details. Pay attention to what keeps drawing you in.

Because during the building process, there will be a lot of opinions, revisions, and moments where it’s easy to pivot away from what you originally loved.

In our case, another window design was proposed, and honestly… everyone else liked it. But I kept coming back to this inspiration photo because I knew how I wanted the space to feel.

And I’m so glad I trusted that instinct.

If you’re building a home, don’t be afraid to advocate for the details that matter to you most.
