Thank you for allowing me to work with you. I love the humans that continue to push this activity forward. You are selfless, kind, and exactly who I want to surround myself with.

SOUTHLAKE CARROLL INDOOR PERCUSSION 2026 - AURA

This show is based around light, and our personal light. Last night at our community send off show, David Walker had the great idea of turning the lights off for a standstill music ens run, and letting the props shine. What a treat for the performers and community.

Excited to bring this production to Dayton, Ohio, as our students compete in WGI World Championships next week.

Many thanks to the students and staff who make this possible.

Music : David Walker | Nick McConnaughey
Drill : Noe Gomez
Choreo : Zach Carrasco

Wow! The craziest semester I’ve ever had is finally over! I had a few firsts—first recital, first jazz lab, first vocal jazz ensemble, to name a few—but most of the work was about doing something I already knew how to do, but better. I met so many new people through exploring myself and what types of music actually interest and inspire me, and I’m glad I took those risks cause they gave me the most growth in return. Shoutout to all the folks who were patient with me as I was learning, especially those in the Latin with me and those that played on my recital, those guys are goated fr.

Aside from school, I watched so much live music! My goal this semester was to seek musical experiences outside of school as much as I could, and as a result I went to 6 concerts and a few rubber gloves shows, one of which I played at! So grateful to be where I am now in my journey and super excited to continue growing over the summer and next year.
