School drop-off was a little easier this time around.💜

Last year, I was a MESS as I drove away.😭

This year feels different.

He’s more mature. He’s ready. He knows what to expect. He’s excited. And I’m excited for him.🤩

Plus having his girlfriend, Ella, with us helped my mama heart stay more calm. Also in these pics is his roommate from Senior year, Maruan.

Same flag. One year later. And a whole lot of growth in between. 💜

Another year of excellent coaching, incredible training facilities, life coaches, competing 🏂 and traveling ✈️ All while continuing to grow both on and off the mountain.

Post-grad year. Here we go!🏂

My son turns 19 today! 🤩🎉

It’s crazy how fast life goes by. It feels like just yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital in Austin, Texas.💙

And since I never got around to posting them… here are a few photos from his graduation party back in May.🤷🏼‍♀️

We hosted his Grad Party less than 24 hours after moving into our new home… just how the Christiansen family rolls.🤪😂

Our hearts are full of gratitude for the love, support and encouragement our friends and family have given Grey over the years. It truly takes a community to help shape a young person’s life, and we’re thankful for each of you.

Happy Birthday, Grey! We love you and can’t wait to see where this next year takes you.❤️

That moment when a SURPRISE visitor shows up at your son’s graduation party. 🥹💜

This was one of my favorite moments of the day.

Both of my kids had Mrs. Harris as their 4th grade teacher, and she was truly one of the BEST. The kind of teacher who makes every student feel seen, loved, and believed in.

The fact that she took time out of her day to celebrate Grey meant more than she probably knows.

Teachers like her leave a lasting impact. 💕

Proud Mama Bear.
My boy graduated HS.🎓🎉
So thankful for the support of coaches, teachers, family and friends throughout the years.🥰🥰🥰

Special shout out to Coach Brando.💜He’s the reason I felt comfortable sending Grey to school in another state for his Senior year. All the travel to multiple states and 2 countries (Netherlands & Finland). When you put one of your kids in the care of others…well, let’s just say I don’t make that decision lightly. Glad we said YES! Our boy had amazing experiences and met wonderful lifelong friends. #grateful

Well it’s been one hell of a run with the Academy…

If I could do it all again, I would. And I wouldn’t change a thing. I’m so damn proud of everyone I’ve worked with over the past 10 years, and please believe I’m always here for you. We are always here for you.

To @coachstewball - thank you for giving your all to this program. We did some amazing things in beautiful places around the world!

To my team & the families: I’m truly sorry that we won’t be able to fulfill our promises to those expecting us there, but I’m forever grateful for the opportunity to improve the lives of you and yours. It’s always been about the kids, about real snowboarding, and creating life changing experiences that I wish I had at their age.

Thank you to everyone who competed, donated, and came out to watch the inaugural Wy’East x IRCO Rail Jam! Our student government worked hard to make this a great event. We were proud to raise funds for IRCO Upward Bound, a local Portland-based organization helping first generation students prepare for college. We can’t wait to see you all next year!

And most importantly, thank you to everyone who dunked @alt_babs We got her good!
