Nick saw a helicopter elopement on Instagram, looked at Blythe and said, “Let’s do that.”

Which is a fairly dangerous sentence to say to the woman you’re going to marry 😂

Because they actually did.

They got on their motorcycles in Ontario and RODE THEM ACROSS CANADA to BC. For their wedding.

Then put on their wedding clothes, hopped into a helicopter and landed on the side of a mountain to get married.

Like???? This was the plan??? And you actually followed through??? 😂

These little phone clips stitched together show you a glimmer into their day with their bikes, the veil in Nick's beard, the RED champagne 😅

Someone could have watched that original Instagram reel, thought “wow, cool wedding” and kept scrolling.

Nick apparently had other plans. 😂

And maybe this is the reel YOU see and look at your fiancee and say: "Hey, we should do that!" 😉

Okayyyy so apparently “let's just elope” can now mean showing up on motorcycles, swapping them for a helicopter, and casually landing in TWO different places to get married 🥳

I will NEVE get over how good elopements are!

You can make the day so uniquely and specifically yours.

Ride in together across Canada
Take the helicopter.
Land somewhere that makes absolutely no sense for a wedding dress.
Get the photos that you actually WANT to hang on your wall.

Meanwhile we're behind the scenes carrying things, fixing things, watching the weather, keeping us on time and trying to act normal while THIS is happening in front of us 🫢🤩

These edited photos are unreal. Just wait until you see the film!

And somehow I think I love seeing the unfiltered little behind-the-scenes seconds that made them just as much.

This full harvest moon deserved its very own spotlight on my page😭 like you’re kidding!?

Story time…We were on the top of the mountain this weekend for a beautiful elopement and as we were about to heli back, the moon appeared from behind the mountains (super far away). I screamed and asked the pilot if he could give me two minutes so I could pull out my zoom lens. I know we had to go but bless his heart I wasn’t taking no for an answer (🫠💀). He said YES but be quick. So I did. I zoomed as close as I could and snapped. It’s STUNNING.

I’m thinking of making a canvas and putting it on my wall at home. It’s breathtaking. What else should I do? Submit to natgeo? Anywhere else?!✨

Who’s cutting onions? 🥹😭

Can you imagine seeing your favourite person walk down the aisle and not being able to greet them right away? Miss Oakley handled it beautifully and let Sarah have her special moment. She watched her mama walk down the aisle, stayed engaged, and communicated that she was okay without needing to vocalize.

Oakley’s itinerary was intentionally designed with an early exit after walking down the aisle. Instead, she showed us she was capable of far more than anyone anticipated.

A successful wedding day begins before the ceremony. Her morning included physical exercise, mental enrichment through leash work, a private space to decompress and meaningful one-on-one time with us.

A leash doesn’t create trust. Time does. And we had all the time in the world for this anxious girl to help her thrive. Alyssa and I are so proud of you Oakley!! 🤍🥹
