Practicing spider guard then working night shift in the NICU is not for the weak. The hand sanitizer BURNS like you would not believe and I gel my hands every couple of minutes. Guess I'll be taping up for class until I regrow my finger skin 😭

My husband has officially entered his sour dough starter era. But he didn't stop there- he's canning, pickling, fermenting, smoking meats...it's amazing. He's making kimchi, masalas, and even a ginger beer starter which I learned is called a ginger bug. You can't keep a scientist out of the lab for long- our kitchen is his new home lab and I'm into it. 10/10 would recommend having a scientist husband who discovered a love for cooking ❤️❤️❤️

Happy to have violence therapy back in my life again. The only thing that keeps me cool under pressure and stops me from wanting to choke someone out in my real life is getting to choke people out in my free time. 10/10 would recommend.

Parenting tip: get your littles polaroid cameras, so your house can be sprinkled with moments captured through their eyes. I find these little gems all over and it's my favorite thing. Sure, it's about a dollar a photo and most pictures come out blurry or angled at the ceiling. But it's worth every penny to have memories like these.

The ham has been smoked, the nog has been nogged on, cookies were laid out for Santa and the elves stayed up until damn near 4 am wrapping presents . But the big day is finally here. Best days of our lives- These memories will last forever.

Loving everyday with these amazing kiddos leading up to the big day! Taking the trolley to December nights at Balboa Park, getting a Christmas tree from an amazing little winery in Fallbrook and decorating our gingerbread houses in preparation for the annual Great Gingerbread Smash- it's all been so much fun. Next week Christmas cookie and salt dough ornament making baking begins. These are the best days
