Day 2 of heats done 👊🏼

It’s been scrappy to say the least. We certainly have the pace and will look to covert that into some front end finishes in the rest of the heat tomorrow. We raced to the front group in heat 1 today but was pushed off track on the final lap and dropped places and then took a penalty to boot dropping us right down.

Heat 2 was also scrappy and entailed a full course yellow for a few laps, our pace got us to P7. More in the tank for tomorrow ✊🏼

Thanks to team 💙🩷🤍

We were very fast during warm-up, but unfortunately, we couldn’t find the same feeling with the tyres once we got into the heats. Still, some great comebacks allowed us to finish P14 and P23.

Not where we want to be, but we’re working hard and pushing forward.💪🏻

Biblical rain arrived in Viterbo yesterday afternoon during the formation lap, with all but one driver committed to slicks!

In incredibly challenging conditions, H kept his composure and delivered a mature, controlled drive in the very, very wet on slick tyres. Crossing the line P4.

Good points in the bank and plenty of posatives to take forward. Now we’re looking ahead to two more qualifying heats today.

✔️TQ day complete | IWF 🇮🇹🌧️🌈

We tackled a very difficult set of conditions which were to define our first day in Mini racing with rain, then dry then more rain which always makes things extra hard, but we didn’t come to play ✊🏼

We took a solid P11 in our group for TQ after our fast lap was baulked by another competitor, the lap was a full set of green sectors up to that point, but we move on and learn from that.

Our only heat of the day, started on a drying track on slicks and within a lap or two it was torrential rain once again, but we navigated the tricky conditions to bring it home in P11, faster than some inside the top seven.

We completed a solid days work and we now look forward to tomorrow’s heats.

Thanks to the team as always 💙🩷🤍

A tough day in Viterbo. A difficult qualifying session left us with work to do, and just when the pace looked promising in the heat, another issue stopped us from showing our true potential.

Tomorrow is a new day. Let’s go! 🖤💪🏻

That’s free practice complete at IWF ✔️

We have tried and tested absolutely everything and will now endeavour to put it all together for TQ tomorrow ⏱️

We ran top ten in some of our sessions and not far off of the pace at all, so we look forward to tomorrow’s official phase 📈

It’s important that we remember this 8 year old is going up against the best Minis in the world, many of which are 12 years old, 3 to 4 age difference years is a gulf in terms of development so we bear this in mind as we shoot for the stars ✨

Full send from here on guys - let’s do this ✊🏼

Yesterday was a blast ✨ D A Y 1 | I W F 🇮🇹

Today is much the same with a bunch more test sessions but this time with live timing ⏱️

We learned a lot yesterday and have more items to work on today, there is time to come driver and package to find those vital last bits of time required to get us to the sharp end.

Being one of the youngest drivers on the grid and this being our first race in Mini it’s a big ask, but we are ready for the challenge 🫱🏻‍🫲🏽

Thanks to the team at Xcel, Grice Engines, Olivier our coach and Josh our mechanic for a superhuman effort so far ✊🏼
