Now settled in Chile, enjoying the end of summer with my partner Karina and my daughter Aurora.

I finally have a moment of calm to thank everyone who, in one way or another, was part of my farewell. Huge thanks to @mgnsmgnsmgns for organizing the event and arranging the space at Poplar. To @itay_music , for joining me on the set, and to all the friends who came to support.

To my @soulalabel family.
To my friends @metasamassoundsystem

Saying goodbye has been tough, my friends. These past years in London have been incredibly happy ones for me. I hope this is more of a “see you later” than a true farewell.

Sending a big hug to each and every one of you who shared the joy of music and these last few years with me. I know you’ll recognize yourselves in these words.

Very excited for next weeks @fr.eq.uent - we got none other than two of the most accomplished beat makers on the scene launching their new project @square.drops at a special takeover (next weds Oct 30th)

@greenmindzsoula and @gridlabmusic / @latuebeats putting on a special set to debut new works, supported by @fluffsoula on the visuals.

Doors open at 6pm, with usual slots up for grabs, and a headline set from the duo, incorporating live instrumentation alongside the dope production these two are known for.

Make sure you get down early to grab a slot and show these two the support they deserve - it’s going to be levels 😤

Last Wednesday a huge success, and the first of many workshop style sessions where we want to bridge the gap between the plugin developers, and the creators who use them.

A huge thank you to all those who came through to receive a walkthrough of CHONKER, a new software synthesiser created by top developer in the space Angus Hewlett. Thank you to Angus for imparting a large amount of knowledge on not just his new tool, but synthesis in general. Some great tracks using CHONKER were put together swiftly by the producers on deck, in addition to some great performances on the night from Frequent community regulars.

A special thank you @gaia_sivakumar and @luis.g_n , who diligently explored CHONKER in the weeks leading up to the event, created a number of patches, put together an original work for playback, as well as a live performance using the synth for the night in question - incredible sounds and scenes 🫡

This Wednesday we’re celebrating a year of @fr.eq.uent , so make sure you’re on deck to grab a slot as normal, and engage in a big sonic group hug with your fellow frequent-dems 🤗🫂

Metasama is an insanely talented collective of producers coming together to make incredible art. A misfit bunch of creators, every member of the click has their own unique style and take on music production, and the art that supports it. With each individual’s unique personality shining through, there’s still somehow a succinct sound and ethos to their output as a group.

This last Monday gone, the crew took over @fr.eq.uent for a showcase of what they’ve been working on, and an insight into what’s to come. With crazy visuals to support, it was damn near a movie.

Shout out the producers who came along to grab a slot before the collective got stuck in, all those who came to show support and enjoy the great music, and most importantly @metasamasoundsystem for bringing absolute heat 🔥

We’re back tomorrow business as usual. Come thru grab a slot and let your productions fly on our system 🔊

We will of course also have food on deck so come hungry, we got you covered 🤝

Flippin glorious night at FREQUENT35. That’s right you heard, we’re 35 events deep now. Better start planning this Frequent Summer Festival then. That’s right you heard, Frequent Summer Festival.

As if it wasn’t for the truly diverse array of sounds that came through last night (thank you to all those who performed/ ran tunes), it was made all the better by @thatsnotartt’s live illustration throughout the evening. A spectacle of style and substance throughout.

If you’re an illustrator, graphic, or 3d artist, and would like to come and plug in to our projector on a Monday night, holla us and come get your art direction on at @fr.eq.uent

We’re breaking for the Easter bank holiday, but will be back on the 8th of April for a very special @dankndirtydubz takeover, in celebration for the @spectredubs new project release. Look out for another @loopsessionsldn on the 15th, and another very special takeover on the 22nd.

Peace and love always ✌️
