From the bottom of our hearts — THANK YOU 🙏🌊

Rigs & Reggae on the Pier 2026 is a wrap, and we’re still floating. Three days of gathering, sharing, dancing, laughing, and caring for one another on that pier — it was everything we hoped for and so much more.

To everyone who attended, rolled in with a rig, or just came down for the music: thank you for showing up with open hearts. To our volunteers who gave their time and energy: we couldn’t have done it without you. To the artists who filled the pier with sound and soul: you were incredible. To our sponsors, partners, vendors, and every local business that welcomed us into Astoria: thank you for believing in this. And to everyone who shared, tagged, told a friend, or just sent good vibes our way: it all mattered.

What we love most about this festival is watching people come together around music — new friends made, old friends reunited, a community bridged. That’s the whole point, and you all made it real 💛

We’re so grateful to be surrounded by such amazing people. This is only the beginning, and we can’t wait to keep growing it with you in the years to come.

With love,
Christine & Peter 🚐🎶

Partner spotlight: GRIDLESS OPERATIONS 🚿⚓

Let’s be honest — three days of dancing, camping, and coastal sunshine calls for a hot shower. That’s where our friends at Gridless Operations come in! They’ll be providing showers at camp all weekend long, so you can rinse off, freshen up, and get right back to the music 🎶

It’s the little things that make a camping festival great, and this is a big one. Thank you, Gridless, for keeping the pier crew clean 🙌

📍 Venue Update

After closely monitoring the wildfire situation in and around Sisters, we’ve made the decision to relocate this year’s Backcountry Offroad Expo to the La Pine Rodeo Grounds.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s one we feel is right. Our hearts are with everyone in the Sisters community who has been affected by the fires. We want to be respectful of everything the community is facing and allow local resources to remain focused on wildfire response and recovery.

The good news is that the expo is still happening August 1–2. The only thing changing is the location.

We’ll still have all the vendors, educational sessions, the Wrench Yard, Yard Sale, camping, food, live music, community activities, and everything you’ve been looking forward to.

As a way to give back, 100% of the proceeds from our event raffle will be donated to the American Red Cross and the Wildland Firefighter Foundation to support those impacted by the Sisters-area wildfires.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support as we’ve worked through this decision. Communities show up for each other during times like these, and we’re looking forward to bringing everyone together in La Pine.

Our hearts are with the Sisters community and everyone affected by the wildfires. ❤️

We’re currently in Sisters, monitoring fire activity and air quality each day while staying in close contact with local officials. We’re also looking for ways the Backcountry Offroad Expo can support the community during this time.

At this time, the expo is still scheduled for August 1–2.

To make sure we’re prepared for any scenario, we’ve also secured a backup venue should conditions make relocating the event the safest option. Our goal is to make a final decision no later than Monday afternoon so attendees, vendors, and partners have time to plan.

We know many of you have reached out with questions, and we truly appreciate your patience, support, and understanding as we navigate this alongside the Sisters community.

Our thoughts remain with everyone impacted and with the firefighters, first responders, and volunteers working tirelessly to protect the area. We’ll continue sharing updates as we know more. ❤️
