Still trying to find the words for what this weekend meant… but one thing I know for sure is I didn’t do this alone 🤍

The grand opening of The Spot was everything I’ve prayed for, worked for, cried over, and envisioned for YEARS. To stand in a space that started as just an idea in my head… and see it filled with love, energy, and my community? That’s something I’ll never take for granted.

To my family and friends that have become family, thank you for holding me down in every season. For the prayers, the encouragement, the late nights, the honest conversations, and the “keep going” when I felt like I couldn’t.

To my instructors, y’all are the heartbeat of this thing. Thank you for believing in me, trusting my vision, and showing up not just for me, but for every person who walked through those doors. The way y’all poured into those demos? Elite.

To my Elle N’ Elle who drove down just to help me christen this building, you didn’t have to, but you did. And that kind of love and support doesn’t go unnoticed. I’m forever grateful.

Throughout the day, I wore a ring my dad gave me on a necklace. A quiet reminder that he’s still with me. Watching over me. Covering me. A part of every step, every risk, every win. This one meant a little more because of that.

This wasn’t just a grand opening… this was a manifestation. A vision brought to life through faith, consistency, and a whole lot of people who believed in me.

We really did that.

RENAISSANCE BRUNCH did it again!! 🪩

While we aren’t affiliated with the Queen herself — we love you @beyonce — we LOVE her artistry, LOVE seeing her live in her truth, and appreciate the magic in her process.

So, when it came time to host the second event in none other than Durham, NC, I collaborated with the team to purely do promo (thanks @mirsempire) then @everybodylovero tapped me for media coverage. 😳

When the work is aligned, God is at work and for an event fit for the Beyhive, you know I was ALL IN. 🤩

If you can’t tell from the footage — because I got over 140 pieces of content on 3 different devices that day — the venue may have been smaller than the one in Charlotte but EVERYONE from the dancers to the models to the venue’s team to our team to the attendees themselves showed up and showed out!!

And before you think it’s over, you better keep it COZY for the winter and prepare ALIEN SUPERSTAR because this is just Act I!

#RENAISSANCEbrunch is coming back in 2024 after we defrost so drop which city you want the event to stop in and keep an outfit in mind! 👀

I can’t promise I’ll be there, but I will be promoting since I loved the first one in Charlotte SO MUCH this summer, loved Durham too. It’s always so much fun!
