Redwood was able to pull off a 54-10 win vs TL. Don't let the score fool you. If there is one team in MCAL who I dislike wrestling as our last dual it is TL. It is a testament to the hardwork in the room the coaches & wrestlers put in year after year. They are always tougher in duals at the end. Only 6 matches were wrestled tonight and it was split evenly for W's at three each. We were able to pick up bonus points in every one of our wins. While TL only got one win w/bonus points, a major decision. That was the game changer.

Redwood finished the season 8-3 overall in duals, undefeated in MCAL. For a program not designed for duals but rather large tournaments I think we had a good go for this abbreviated season. We got to dual 5 top 15 section programs...each one was a battle until the end...minus vs DLS but we're better for it. For a sophomore heavy program... money is in the bank. Now we dive into the offseason in numbers to get better everyday.

W6 dual1 against N ended w/a R win (55-23). We won 5 of the 7 matches wrestled. A big shotout to @kekoa_madayag & @ikaikamadayag from N ... Thanks for doing work for our league. We like facing the Madayag brothers... they make us better.

One more day of practice tomorrow,, then it's the last 3 days of this abbreviated season. Make it count. Finish strong.

W5 dual1 ... to bonus point or not? Tough loss to Petaluma that came down to the last match 39-34. Oh well, we go again tomorrow. Brush it off. Time to put the practice to the test again tomorrow. #weHaveJustBegun #goalsnotdreams

W3 dual2 ... some teams you line up against & you know it'll be tough. Windsor did not disappoint, thank you. R squeezed out a 42-32 win. Lick those wounds, get those weights right & keep getting better each day... Tomorrow we go again. #WeHaveJustBegun #goalsnotdreams

W3 dual1 ... duals vs @ukiahwrestling are always exciting for us. Arguably the best top10 program section matchup for us year after year. This one did not disappoint. Ukiah won 40-28, congratulations gentlemen. We won some I didn't have on paper & lost some I had as wins on paper... At the end of the day it is who shows up to execute their gameplan w/bonus points in mind. Often times that comes down to grit w/heart. Wipe the blood & dirt off.. let's be better tomorrow vs Windsor. #weHaveJustBegun #goalsnotdreams
