Grif had a scary reminder yesterday of his tree nut allergy. He was on worship at his church in CS and they catered in sandwiches and cookies. Come to find out, the club sandwich had an avocado pesto spread that contained cashews. He understandably never considered a club sandwich would contain nuts! He started feeling a reaction but didn’t have his Epinephrine with him. Thankfully one of his roommates was able to quickly bring it to him. However, in hindsight, I should have told him to immediately call 911. His roommate drove him to an urgent care after Grif gave himself an epi shot. The urgent care called 911. While in the ambulance, his reaction became more severe. Between the urgent care, ambulance and ER visit he ended up requiring 2 epinephrine doses, another injectable steroid, Benadryl, a couple of other medicines, and a nebulizer breathing treatment. We are so thankful for his sweet friend Gage that brought him his epi, drove him to the UC and followed the ambulance to the hospital. We are also so thankful this happened while close to hospitals and not while he was out of the country or out hiking or hunting. He was diagnosed with this allergy at 18 months old after eating chicken that contained cashews and having a very severe reaction. We’ve gone 20 years without further exposure but yesterday was a wake up call that he will likely have this for life. :( My momma heart is struggling between overwhelming gratitude and fear!

One of my favorite Gramps memories! He loved finding ways to help the boys and play with them outside despite quadriplegia.

The sunsets were beautiful, the sand was soft, the ocean was clear & the drinks were cold … but the real joy was found in who we shared it with. Amazing Watercolor, FL vacation with GG (Paula), Austin & MK, and all the grands!

Living my summer more than the ant.

This summer has truly been filled with blessings. I am beyond thankful to have been given the opportunity to pour into the next generation and the Romanians. Truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone that has supported me through what God has called me to do this summer. Thank you. P.T.L.K.J.

HS CAMP 2026 !!! 🎉

Can’t even begin to describe what an incredible week of camp we just had! Watching students worship, pray for each other, and seek after Jesus with all their heart was so special! I still can’t even believe I get to be a part of the same camps that made such an impact on me and see so many students encounter the presence of God. I love our team so much! Getting to lead along side so many people I have looked up to for years and leading with some of my best friends - The greatest gift!

Thank you Jesus for all you did at HS CAMP this summer! 🫶🏻

Please watch the last video for the coolest surprise we got to do for our students! 🎆

Postcards from Camp🏕️

Just a camera roll full of my favorite people, a whole lot of laughter, not enough sleep, and memories I’ll be smiling about for a long time. God is cool and I love getting to be a part of his church!
