They don’t really tell you how hard it really is to say goodbye to something that has been apart of your life since the age of 5. It’s hard to believe this chapter is closing. Travel softball has been so much more than a sport it’s been a way of life. The early mornings, the long road trips, the sunburns, the sore muscles, the wins, the losses… they’ve all shaped who I am.

I’m saying goodbye to the dugouts filled with laughter, to teammates who became family, and to coaches who believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself. I’m walking away with lifelong memories, lessons in grit and grace, and a heart full of gratitude.

Thank you, softball, for teaching me discipline, resilience, leadership, and love for the game. I’ll always carry the spirit of competition with me but even more, the friendships, the fire, and the joy.

Here’s to moving on to bigger and greater things. See you soon truett softball! @tmubearssoftball
