2024’s been a cracking year!

From racing in Ireland, Belgium and Spain, to smashing it in the Suffolk lanes, I’ve pushed myself, learned lots and had fun doing it.

My final year in the junior ranks means my final year with @leevalleyjunior. It’s been a privilege to race some big races and learn from some great riders within the team. Good luck to all of the boys, wherever cycling takes you.

There’s so many to thank for a great year, but a big thanks goes to Bob and Julie from LVYCC for the amazing opportunities to race and learn. A big thanks to all those around me in and about Suffolk for all the guidance along the way, especially my coach @ciclismojames. Lastly, to my parents for their time and effort in helping me navigate the year!

Don’t think younger me wouldn’t have imagined where bikes have taken me….

Looking forward to a slightly different year of racing, riding, and travelling as I finish school.

Had a great few weeks on the bike since the end of exams. Kicked it off with the @via_atelier.cc fixed gear crit, then the next day the E12, coming away with 6th and 20th. After that was the @achtvanbladel UCI 2.1, where I finished 34th/161, and first @leevalleyjunior

We couldn’t be more excited to start the 2024 season in Belgium 🇧🇪 this weekend.

The boys will be racing 2 kermesses over the course of the weekend and we are looking forward to see what they can do 👀!

Our two week stint in Mallorca 🇪🇸 has now come to an end. The boys all put in some hard work out in the sun while over there, and are each looking forward to the season ahead.

Whilst out there, the boys had the pleasure of racing on two separate occasions, the first of which saw @edward_the_charles and @stanleycook_e take some solid results and taking first and second junior on the day.

The second race saw a lot more of the boys participating, resulting in a great day out for all of them. We saw @abrahamcharlie6 in the main break of the day, which was unfortunately brought back a few km before the finishing climb began. The boys then excellently organised a strong leadout train to drop our climber @re.ece.06 into the bottom of the climb at the front of the race. This work from the boys was payed off when Reece took home a great top 5 result against some very strong competition. They also managed to complete the junior podium which is a good sign for the races to come.

We also had the pleasure of having a member from @3action giving the team a talk about the best way to fuel throughout the season. We are grateful for all their support for the team during the upcoming season.
