Paul Short 2026 did not go to plan ❌

Some views, hot weather, and some laughs is sometimes all you need.

Good luck today to @griffsrun at the National Catholic Championship. I'm a little reluctant to celebrate @sofia.ruffa because she's a terrible person, but it is her first big event so why not. And good luck to @cassandracollins27 @charlottekeenan64 @sundberg_clara @jocelyn.lily @adamkoz1 @jackstanford16 and their biggest fan @fr.fredbetti

Little 3 XC race by @griffsrun kicks off my cross country photo season. Feels great to be back! I had a new to me 70-200 long lens plus a rented infrared camera. I’ll post where I will be by months this coming week. #xc #ncaaxc #delawarepark #buffalony

Long runs hit different with the team.

15 miles and a lot of time spent running side by side.

The miles go by a little easier when you’ve got a good group around you. Just another Saturday getting better together.

Why do runners utilize the sauna? It’s not just hype.

Heat exposure creates an additional physiological stress that can lead to adaptations like expanded plasma volume, improved sweating, and better cardiovascular stability in the heat.

For endurance athletes, those adaptations can make hot-weather running feel more manageable.

Not a shortcut. Not a replacement for training.

Just another tool in the toolbox.

Train. Adapt. Breakthrough.

DM “COACHING” if you want help applying this to your own training.
